Raven Shadows is one of the best poems I have read on WDC. You mastered the form in a way I have never seen before. Each line flowed beautifully onto the next in an calm, sinister way. The end of each stanza seemed to grab the reader and throw them to the next stanza.

Your choice of vocabulary is excellent fitting the style and prompt perfectly every time. The 'onyx abyss' and the 'Charcoal plumes' seem to be stand out choices in my opinion. But even the simpler choices like 'envelops' and 'assail' seem to have a mystical effect unrivalled by other poems I have read.

I don't normally review pieces I find listed on the hub as I often don't have the time to do a review that's not requested, but after reading this I had to let you know how great it is.

It's hard to pick a favourite stanza from the four brilliant ones you have written, but if I was pushed I would have to pick stanza 3 'Raven shadows mask emotions...'. The imagery in that stanza is amazing and I envy you for being able to write it.

Please, what ever you do, don't stop writing. It is awesome and has made my evening.
