Talim looked up to see Cassandra, the girl who had shrunken her (jeez, she can't get a break, can she?). Cassandra waited for the little girl to speak, for she would have to explain Talim's situation. Talim didn't understand why this girl would shrink her, and asked a question. "Why did you shrink me?" Cassandra smiled, "You know, I really don't have a reason. The god of the forge, Hephaestus wills it." Talim's eyes opened wide, what did she have to do with the Greek gods? Cassandra continued, "You see, Hephaestus is my patron god. And when you were shrunken, you took on...certain properties." Talim had no idea what that meant. "You mean I'm tiny, but I'm somehow different? What are you planning to do with me?!" Cassandra giggled. "Hephaestus is god of the forge, bender of metals...As such, when you were shrunken by his power, you took on the qualities of that which he controls. This is hard to explain, let us say that you are like super-heated metal; you can bend." Talim shook her head, "What are you talking about? You're insane!" Cassandra only grinned.
Talim's body, though she didn't know, could now squish, and she woudn't die. Whether she was splattered, flattened, or squashed, she'd never die. Cassandra decided to play with her little captive.
