Was That So hard?
"I'm only going to say this once."

I turned on the tape recorder. He glared at me.

"What are you doing?"

I grinned sarcastically. "If you are only going to say this once, I want a record of it."

"I didn't sign on for that!"

I laughed aloud. "It isn't a murder confession. What harm is there in recording it?”

“You very much intend to use this against me!”

“But not in court, unless you divorce me. Then I’ll give the judge a good laugh. Now, you said you had something to say.”

“I was wrong!”

“Was that so hard?”
