Teacher and librarian have a knowledge off 300 words
Obselete Knowledge

“Cordelia, see me after class,” her teacher Mrs. Primrose said.

Cordelia trembled as her teacher was stern and brooked no nonsense. After the class had left, the teacher glided over to Cordelia and hovered by her desk and stool.

“What do you have to say for yourself?” she began.

“About what, ma’am?”

“Where did you find this fact that you based your essay on?”

“I read it in a book.”

“That’s impossible, there are no obsolete items like that left in this school system!”

“I asked Mrs. Alabaster Rose, and she gave me it.”

“Who?” the teacher’s tone shrilled.

“Head of Library Services, ma’am.”

“Take me to her, if there is such a person!” her teacher said.

Cordelia did.

“So, you’re the decrepit bag of bolts that gave my student a book for information?”

The older model robot turned on her single leg and looked disdainfully at the teacher.

“And you’re the harridan that seriously believes she’s teaching this poor girl something!”

Sparks began to fly as the two bots squared off. Cordelia was afraid for Mrs. Alabaster because of the age difference. It turned out she needn’t have.

Facts began to fly. Mrs. Primrose flagged first.

“When it comes to history, most of it is still in books, you ignorant can of nuts,” Mrs. Alabaster said as a final riposte. Mrs. Primrose sagged.

“My, that was refreshing! I feel years younger. I haven’t had a knowledge war like that in, forever!” Mrs. Alabaster said as she helped Cordelia revive her teacher with warm oil packs on her forehead. Together, they wheeled her back to the classroom and put her in the charging cubicle.

“I’ll send her an IM and apologize. I’m sure you’ll be fine. If not, let me know, I’m always ready for another round anytime!”
