Hard to categorize this story. I put down ‘sci-fi’, though it doesn’t contain much in the way of space travel or futuristic societies. But it’s (kind of) science-related, and I must admit it is fiction, or some of it is. That said, this story (novel? novella?) is about places and people I’ve had the pleasure of encountering in my life, with its underlying theme of back-to-the-basics/hands-on. That’s also my approach to life, fixing things (instead of tossing them and buying new ones), walking wherever I can, and driving (a stick-shift) when not. Hope you enjoy it - tell me what you think!
