Just a poem that is not quite finished |
Once you lose faith you lose yourself Your heart will cry and your soul will die And all the while you are silent Ignoring the waves of pain In hopes to stay sane But you are slowly slipping away You’ve fallen and it’s a crash landing And you left your parachute on the plane And you’ve crossed the line between Sane and insane Through eyes that once saw the beauty In the world can now only see the ugliness Fear rises to point of self destruction The cauldron is boiling and trouble is bubbling You reach for a hand to hold And see you are now truly alone Because the ugliness you have seen Has caused you to change You built your walls so high That no one will ever see you the same And the more you suppress your rage The stronger it grows And the more it grows The more your heart turns cold You lose your ambition Because you’ve lost your inspiration You life and mind spins in an endless spiral You wish someone would care enough To pull you out But since you’ve stop caring No one else cares either You hate so much it hurts You pray to the God you know is there To make it stop But He doesn’t answer loud enough For you to hear And now the utter loneliness you have feared Is finally complete You live you life day by day On the surface completely fine But none can see the hate That is burning inside Because you hide it so well And the more you hate The harder it becomes to tell You have no hope And no heart anymore And everything that meant the world to you Now means nothing And the hurt is gone But there is still pain Pain that burns like the eternal fire But you know you must soon expire This flame before you burn yourself Beyond recognition |
