Here he comes again,
Gripping at my thighs,
Knowing I won't give in.
There's nothing to gain,
But it's never a surprise
When he tries to win.
Sneaking his hands
Into an unwanted place,
Not acknowledging my, "NO!"
I still fight his plans
For invading my space,
Telling him where to go.
Now he's pissed and pouting,
Saying I should just submit
Because it's something I owe.
Don't you hear me shouting?
"Leave me alone, quit it!
I've already told you, no!"
His hands firmly clasp around
My wrist as he breaks the block
Of my once barricading knees.
He pushes up my nightgown.
I pray for it to be five o’clock
So that I can finally unfreeze.
In hours of unsolicited touches
I think about how often I fight,
Trying to escape from his hold.
Can I keep away from his clutches
If I avoid each and every night,
Or will I eventually unfold?
