love, feelings, woman
You spend the day preparing to see her

Steeling yourself against the effect her presence has
on you

Telling yourself that this time you wont be overcome
by her

Convinceing yourself that this time, you're ready to
face her...

Then you see her....and it starts

Time slows as you take in her perfection

You're made deaf by the increased beating of your heart

Speech is impossible when she smiles

And thought is stopped by her eyes as you start to
drown in them

Then as you exhale the breath you didn't realize you
were holding,

you hear a whisper the echos through your mind

one word that has more meaning then all the poetry in
the world......"damn"

And once again she has won the battle before it even
started

defeating you with that first sight of her,

making you hers without even knowing it.
