A story about subnautica (call of the void is involved) just my take on the story.
A Story about the only survivor of the aurora crash on how they conquered the depths once more.
Underneath Hell.
By Max_rvm
Introduction
This is a story based off the "call of the void" mod for subnautica. I just wanted to write a my own original story/lore on what happens. I havent played or seen the mod but I know what it is about so if I make some mistakes about it then feel free to correct me.
(Background info)
-this story is based on Riley Robinson and how he escaped planet 4546b. And now he has to come back to save it again.
-Planet 4546b is a 99% water covered planet. With the depths reaching an unknown depth, who knows what else there is to explore. With alien signs of technology and them being the reason why the bacteria escaped,
There is still much to discover about the alien technology. Also I recommend playing subnautica. Honestly it's a great game and It's easier to understand the events and story that way.

Also It's not directly related to it. this is too confusing to explain ngl
epilogue
You just climbed out your life pod, somethings off. you hear a high pitched noise. But where is it coming from? then the ground shakes... it's coming from below. Now the only one thought remains..Who or what is below you..are you brave enough to face the hell beneath?
Chapter 1
Day 1 of the crash, this was expected. thankfully i didn't die. we heard news about the explosion 4 weeks ago, I didn't expect to be here so soon though. I gotta admit i kinda missed this place. I know that the last time I was here I barely survived the first week. I have no idea how the aurora's drive core explosion didnt finish me. I was way too close. The only regret i had leaving this planet was not being able to help the degasi survivors. although Margaret did survive, i wonder how shes doing over at sector zero. Robin told me she'd take me some time. Im suprised margaret didn't want to get rescued. I guess she grew attached to her snow stalker pet. Robin told me she hates that thing but i think she's still griefing about her sister. After I survive this, I'll ask her if she'd feel comfortable with going back but I know she is. Anyway back to the task at hand, my goal here is to disable the enforcement platform, again. Cure myself out of the khaara once more and Stabilise the power plant. Apparently it fell down even more, and it couldn't handle the heat and exploded, releasing the stored bacteria inside it. Back again, on this fucking planet. Atleast my neptune launch pad is still here, i honestly thought it would be destroyed by the fauna or even flora, i havent studied everything last time i was here of course. This reminds me, the aurora is still here, same as ever still burning up but it is burnt way more than I remember. Atleast i don't have to worry about radiation this time around, even though it would be the least of my worries. Anyway enough talking and reminiscing about my past, time to get some rest I need to get a lot of supplies tomorrow.
Chapter 2
I slept well for barely escaping in the life pod this time with a bed. that was my suggestion too. I can't even belive I survived for one and a half weeks without sleep, well I did pass out for a couple ot days because of the panel that hit my head but other than that no sleep at all. anyway I'm quite hungry so its time to get some breakfast. I enjoy the fish on this planet, they are really tasty even though they are infected. Most of the fish taste like metalic, from the radiation i assumed. The only fish that didnt, was the boomerang fish. but i survived it once, surely i can survive it twice, especially with the knowledge I have now. My favourite are the boomerang fish, they look funny and are really tasty. I need to gather some materials now anyway. This is the first time I jumped into the water since i got here, and its really warm. that suprised me as its usually cold, but maybe the thermal plant made it warmer. The only part of this ocean i fear now is the inactive lava zone. The lost river also creeps me out, but I found the lava way worse. It's so fucking warm down there, I'm surprised there is any eco system there at all. Atleast the pre cursors were right about placing a thermal plant there, some much energy, enough to destroy a whole ass aurora. and any other ship for that matter. I still get night mares about the sunbeam, my only saviours, getting melted by a green plasma beam. May they rest in piece. they were my only hope on this planet, now they are part of the ecosystem. Last time i was here, I didn't explore past all the biomes. There was nothing but darkness which turned out to be the crater edge. Apparently that whole side is a crator edge, and that it goes even deeper. I can't change the past but i can change the future. now its time to save this planet from further destruction.
Chapter 3
I came back from a lengthy expedition, even though I've recorded and explored these biomes before it didn't hurt to discover more. Everything was the same, except for one thing. When I was passing by the survivor island, as I like to call it, I noticed a new structure on the island. It was a green house. I knew it was from Margaret. What the hell is she doing here? I asked myself. Dumbfounded i swam closer. I climb onto the rocks and pull myself out the water. How did she come over? Did she get lost? Did she know about the explosion? All of these questions rushed through my mind, not knowing any answers. Eager to find out I started running up the rocky mountain that was the island, almost tripping over a mossy covered rock by all the excitement. I reached the green house and opened the door. It was warm, damp and filled with the scent of marble melon and bulbo trees. Margaret was no where in sight, so I made my over to the abandoned or it should I say it looked like a abandoned pda note. I picked it up and read it. "I know who will be reading this. I know the explosion would get you sent back here. After all you know the most about this side of the planet, so it made sense you'd come. I built this for you, as I knew you'd wonder how I am or how I'm doing. Well to answer these questions, If I gotta be honest well I guess I have to be, I'm doing well over at that bloody ice covered part of the planet. It gets lonely but I have my stalker to keep me company. Ah yes the I left out the part of how I get here. Well that can be explained by one thing. I built myself a seatruck with all the modules, and made my way over the void like I did years ago. I was honestly really scared for the first time in my life. Darkness everywhere and roars coming from the depths. I slept through most of it though, I left the truck on auto pilot and focused on where I should go. After 2 weeks, I ended up here. I looked around and found your launch platform. I'm glad your okay as I found your base and abandoned pda logs. I know your okay. I didn't see or hear a explosion on the day you left according to the logs . Now I hope you can find your way over to me and take us both back home after you sort out the story with the bacteria being spread again. One thing you need to bring is the enzymes, my health has been going to shit. The coordinates should be attached to this log, come find me when you can. I'll be waiting."
