you NEED to read this, hey that rhymes.fun.
SThe chances were impossibly small
But just For a moment, life could stall
We’d all stand still and blink
Of this moment no one would think
Because all of our eyes were closed
If i knew id ask if the world still posed
When nobody looks in the crannies and nooks
Does the dust still pile
do the papers stay filed
I sit in my bed this thought in my head and I think to myself what then
For a moment forgotten is a moment lost
But an empty moment has no cost
Il do my best to inform you what happened while we were gone
But no one was there to gaze or to stare at the things that may have went on
Children died, cheaters lied, cars crashed in the street
Who am i kidding maybe it didn't maybe time ceased to fleet
When we think this way and say these things we don't understand
If everyone looks away and ignores the world life doesn't turn to sand
Children will suffer, women will weep, men will go to war
We say these things burn are core
A lie we tell to seem alright
A lie we defend with all our might
Every one of us,the weeping women, the war torn men,and everyone in between
This is not a poem of hope this a poem of honesty for on truth we are keen
Hidden everywhere are lives no one has seen
Life ticks by and we stand by watching the weak suffer
But just For a moment, pain could stall
And We’d stand still and blink
Of these lives no one would think
Because all of our eyes were afraid
