No Stars Like Thee

Many are the stars I see,
Scattered wide o’er sky and sea,
Yet none can match the light you bring,
Nor the joy that makes my spirit sing.

Bright they shimmer, cold and far,
Silent whispers from afar,
But in my eye no star can be,
As dear, as bright, as you to me.

Through midnight's veil they shine and fade,
But your glow will never trade.
For all the heavens wide and free,
Hold not a star quite like thee.
