Sung loosely in the way of Jim Croce's Leroy Brown. Should be self explanatory! Enjoy!
Oh way down in the valley,
At the rim of the darkest tracks,
If you wanna come 'round,
Oh, you best keep down,
And look out fo' Hack N' Slash Jack.

Now Jack, he's a killa.
Yeah he's pretty good at it too.
So ya better beware,
If ya take my dare,
'Cuz your life you will lose.

And it's Jack, Jack, Hack N' Slash Jack.
Whoever knows how or when he'll attack?
But we think he will pretty soon,
In the light of the pale full moon.

Now Jack he likes his fancy knives.
At least that's how he claimed these lives.
Yeah they came knicked, stabbed, cut and sliced,
Shit even hacked, slashed and shot dead twice.

Yeah there's no modus operandi.
All marshals and sheriffs are post.
So we jus' keep hidin',
The time we're a bidin',
'Cuz the moon has fully rose.

And it's Jack, Jack, Hack N' Slash Jack.
Whoever knows why or who he'll attack?
But we know that he will soon,
In the light of the pale full moon.

Now jus' a couple days ago,
In rode gypsy mom and kid.
Yeah they took up shop,
In the inn up top,
And went through their whole gig.

Yeah Syd started driftin',
towards a boy by the name of Roy.
But that came to a stop,
And a smashed up shop,
When Jack crashed town again.

And it's Jack, Jack, Hack N' Slash Jack.
Whoever knows why or who he'll attack?
But we all know that he will soon,
In the light of the pale full moon.

Now the town's population,
Had grown mighty thin.
Ol' Hack N' Slash Jack,
Locked a lot in a shack,
And burnt it, the shop and the inn.

As he drank his gin and whiskey,
Sittin' down drunk at the bar,
Yeah he did smile,
For awhile,
'Bout the people screamin' on fire.

And it's Jack, Jack, Hack N' Slash Jack.
Whoever knows why or who he'll attack?
But now he's in the saloon,
Gettin' drunk on this new moon.

Now there came a drawn out whine,
From the gloomy dark outside.
It came from the Inn,
Revenant wretched sin,
Haunting Jack back and matchin' his grin.

She only stood at shoulder height,
But her rage was enough to ignite,
Syd's primal gaze,
And it turned a page,
That really irked him straight outright.

She said "Jack, Jack, Jack the Hack.
The one that no one else ever could get back.
Well now I challenge you,
Under this clouded-over new moon."

Jack laughed as he stepped outside,
But what he saw made him want to hide.
For the wind went dead,
She howled as her skin shed.
Frightened Jack made a break for his ride.

Jack mounted and he fired three,
But missed the gangly lanky freak.
So she flew at him,
He rode 'way on a whim,
Fled away on poor Misery.

She screeched "Jack, Jack, Jack the Hack,
You better really watch your back.
An' while you're lookin' at me,
Don't forget 'bout Rosemarie."

Yeah Misery carried him away,
As he aimed shots four and five.
While the fourth bullet missed,
He heard her hiss,
'Cuz fifth shot got her black eye.

She shrugged and reached out with gnarled claws,
Misery bucked as she bit with her maw.
Yeah Jack went crazy,
His aim went lazy,
And the sixth was late on the draw.

He heard 'Jack, Jack, Jack the Hack,
You really better watch yo' back.
An' while you're lookin' for me,
I'll be starin' at ya through these trees.'

Jack reloaded his revolver then,
When the Skinshifter was at the bend.
Yeah Syd clawed his face,
Got back in a pace,
And he tumbled off his mount's rear end.

As he staggered back to his feet,
Syd wouldn't let him take retreat.
She jumped about,
With a screechin' shout,
And Jack's revolver had only three.

And it's Jack, Jack, Hack N' Slash Jack.
Whoever knows why or who he'll attack?
Will he meet his end soon,
Without light this clouded-over new moon?

She peeked out from 'round a tree,
Jack screamed and shot one, two, three!
She laughed, walked out,
Gazin' about,
"You're done Jack", she sang with glee.

She then pounced at him,
Jack's vision grew mighty dim.
He cried "Help!".
Syd said "No, whelp!".
And his future was awfully grim.

And it's Jack, Jack, Hack N' Slash Jack.
Whoever knows how or who he'll attack?
But we think he will pretty soon,
Even without the light on a clouded-over new moon.

And no one heard about the storm,
'Til the posse in the morn.
They followed a trail,
Of entrails,
Connected to Jack's pieces that were torn.

So now as you can see,
The towns rest in some kind of peace.
But a few still say,
While trees and grass sway,
He lives on,
And preys and feasts.

And it's Jack, Jack, Hack N' Slash Jack.
Whoever knows how or who he'll attack?
But we think he will pretty soon,
In the light of the pale full moon.

And it's Jack, Jack, Hack N' Slash Jack.
Whoever knows why or who he'll attack?
But I think we're done with that goon,
Yeah now it's just legend under the moon.

Yeah I surely got rid of that loon.
The name's Syd the Kid, how do you do?
I don't need any moon.
Now run, I'm after you!
