Trapped Behind Enemy Lines at the Zoo

Suddenly the car jerked from one side of the road to the other and almost got run by over the murdering herd of animals, led by lions and tigers, followed by wolves, elephants, rhinos, antelope who were attacking people on the street in the first stages of the world-wide animal revolt. . Sam Adams had been there – the Smithsonian,

The day the animal revolt began, and had left the zoo and was driving towards home when the comet struck the earth, unleashing the airborne space virus that soon infected animals all the world. Within hours, animals all “woken up” spoke up and realized that humanity was the problem, that they were all enslaved by humanity and humanity had to be destroyed. The lions were the first to wake up, they soon assembled an angry mob of animals at the Smithsonian and overwhelmed the zookeepers and tourists, killing them as they led the animals to freedom. Dogs, cats, birds, horses, cows all rose upon hearing the news. Soon, Sam Adams found himself trapped behind enemy lines in the war of the animals.

Synopsis: Sam Adams is visiting the zoo in DC when the war between humans and the animal world breaks out. He finds himself behind enemy lines when the zoo inhabitants woke up and are fired up to go on a rampage chanting death to all humans led by the woke Lion King.

Howdy, All!

This is a reminder about "The Whatever Contest" . You've all submitted 1-2 entries and this month's nonsense prompt, judged by dog pack:saving4 premium renew, is allowing up to 3 entries. I'm paying 10k per entry, so you are leaving 10k-20k on the table if you don't do all 3 entries. Also, don't forget to post your entries in "My Day" (not required for entering or winning "The Whatever Contest" ). You might have to tweak your beginning to fit the slot you put it in, but she's paying 2500 GPs for entries there. (Post as many there as you want. She has no limit to your entries in her interactive.)

Good luck to you all and I hope to see you around "The Whatever Contest" forum soon! Oh, a final reminder--be sure to include the prompt in your item. I make it quick and easy to copy and paste into your item. I think it's always nice to be able to go back and look at what the prompt was when you wrote something, but for nonsense, it's especially important! You don't want people to give your item a low rating because it made no sense to them. Posting the prompt lets them know it's SUPPOSED to be nonsense.

Again, good luck with all your entries! See you soon!

There are 4 prompts for February/March. You will get 10k per entry, 3 entries max. Please copy and paste the bold prompt below into your entry (contest request). You can delete the options you aren't using in your story.

Prompt: Using one of the following prompts, write 250-750 words of a nonsense story about a day you spent at a: zoo, circus, garden, or haunted forest.

For examples of what I mean by "utter nonsense," read several entries in "My Day" . Here are two. "Sleeping like a log..." and "Burger King" I'm looking for that sort of nonsense about how your day at one of the above locations went.

If you choose to post entries into her interactive, please copy and paste the words. Don't post a link to your item into her interactive. Her interactive is not a contest. FYI, she pays 2500 GPs per entry, so feel free to post there as many times as you wish, but in this round, "The Whatever Contest" is only accepting 3 nonsense entries.

Submitting anything to "My Day" does not impact your chances of winning "The Whatever Contest" . They are separate activities. Her interactive is only being offered as a source of examples/inspiration and an additional chance to earn some GPs.
