An argument between Luna's friend and another girl breaks out in the bus.
Another day ends after school ends. I run out the doors first to avoid being stuck in a crowd. I run towards my bus and skip up the stairs like an expert. Looking to the end of the bus (which is where i sit), I realize that my friend Kathy had already beaten me here but also a girl was seated in OUR seat.
I slowly walk forward towards them to avoid being noticed but I fail miserably
"Can you move please, at least scoot over?"
"what if I don't want to?"
"My friend here needs to sit too"
"Then let her move"
I look around and realize that the bus is full of people, Teens. I, not knowing what to do, involuntary start walking to nowhere but is stopped by the hand of my friend holding firmly my arm. 'You're going nowhere' she mouths to me. I stand awkwardly in the aisle, Teens trying to shove their way through beside me. My friend turns back to the girl who is starting to call her friend just to complain about what's going on.
"Can you just leave?!"
"Look, I ain't moving shit, so it's best for you too say bye"
"Make me!"
"Bitch, do you really want to fight?"
"fuck no so get those ugly ass fake nail away from me"
My friend shoves her
"DON'T TOUCH ME FUCKER!"
"FUCK OFF BEFORE I TELL THE BUS DRIVER"
My heart rate speeds up. I feel dizzy. My hands shake. This argument is getting us nowhere.
She stands up and shoves us out of the way and gets off the bus.
We both sit down.
"She's so irritating! who does she think she is! she-sh- AGH!"
She starts crying
She once told me when she gets angry she cries.
5 min later...
"Luna your too nice. You really were going to move when you do realize this is OUR seat"
"yeah b-but"
"That's just stupid, why don't you just fight back?"
"I-i know b-but"
"Just shut up"
"..."
I look down to see my nails digging into my palms and now their seem to be little crescent moons forming on my palm. It stings a little. But I'm used to it. Just a minor panic attack.
I feel so much guilt now. My friend defended me just to get my ass in one seat, and now she's just very frustrated. I could've spoken up but I just kept my mouth shut. I'm starting to imagine scenes that could've happen if I had spoken up. I didn't have to be the mean person, I could've just calm everyone down. I look around to see people looking at my friend and I, Something that I always hated after an argument is the stares you got.
I turn towards the window...and glare at it.
