I was going to make this a Tragedy. But I decided against it. This ending was funnier.
Rain, Rain Go Away

Jasper turned the wheel of his car sharply to the right and sped into the right lane. Barely missing the car that suddenly signaled and got into the left lane only a few feet in front of jasper. His car was within an inch or two from hitting the other car before it shrieked to a stop and spun sideways slightly on the soaked roadway in the downpour of pouring rain.

Honking his horn, Jasper gave the other driver the universal finger salute. Jasper looked at the backseat of his car and smiled. After checking his rearview mirror, and seeing no other cars in sight, Jasper started down that road again. He stared out that mirror through the solid wall of water all around him for several minutes before he took off.

Thirty minutes later Jasper pulled around a circular drive and parked in front of his workplace. Jasper zipped up his coat and put his hood over his head and got out of his car. A high gust of wind and rain slammed into his face and almost forced his car door shut against the hand on the door frame. His hood was flying off his head exposing it to the rain.

Jasper fought against the wind and rain to get to the other side of his car. After clicking his fab twice, he opened the front passenger side door and got out his drink. Using his hand to cover the top of his drink Jasper walked toward the building. Jasper placed the drink down on a small dry spot of cement. Then he returned to the backseat passenger door and opened it.

After pulling out a cooler from the backseat and bouncing it upward to land the strap on his forearm, Jasper closed both doors with his foot before he walked up and picked up the drink. He quickly walked over to an ID badge reader. Covering his drink as he did it. Jasper unzipped his coat about halfway down and pulled out his ID. He placed that ID again the reader. Then he tapped the handicap button next to that reader.

A few seconds later the double door entry into his workplace opened. Jasper walked into the lobby and placed the drink on the desk shelf top and the cooler on the floor beneath it. Then he returned to his car to get two tied-up plastic grocery bags and a cloth briefcase. He did as before with the backseat door, the reader, and the handicap button. Once inside Jasper placed the two bags next to the cooler, and the briefcase behind it.

Jasper returned to his car and parked it in the first row of parking places about twenty-five feet from the entrance. After putting on his tie, he zipped up again and got out of his car. He locked the car door and headed for his workplace, fighting the gusting wind and rain all the way back in there. It took him several minutes to walk that short distance. The wind and rain pushed against him. Making him slide back on the wet pavement.

When he scanned his ID badge and opened the doors to his workplace Jasper slowly, weakly, walked into it. Jasper hung up his coat. A small pond of water formed beneath it almost instantly. He even more slowly walked over to the security desk and sat down in the chair behind it. The other guard barely got out of it before Jasper sat down. Jasper started sliding off that chair. He stopped himself just before going under the desk.

The other guard just smiled broadly. She fought not laughing for about a minute. Then the laughter began as Jasper started sliding again. Only that time he didn’t stop himself.
