Currently I'm going with "God loves us" as my basic idea. This will transition to ways in which He loves us. For example, He gives us good gifts. He made Abraham the father of an entire race, chose a shepherd kid named David to be a king, picked a couple of fisherman to lead people to Him, and selected an obscure girl named Miriam to be the mother of a savior.
Still not sure what the format is going to be. Part of that is because I've never done this before, part is because it's too early, but there's also an element of doubt. I'm having trouble imagining myself writing entire chapters, but a reflection a page seems easier. I also need to decide what translations to use. On hand I have the NRSV, NIV, NASB, and TLB. I'm leaning toward the NASB for my primary source---I like how it reads. I won't limit myself to one translation, though.
