Hellish Night Chap 1-2

A few days before the pandemic. It started with people just getting sick. But we are getting a head a little so here we start. In Savanna Georgia.
"Ed come on stop it man I know my bike is at your house." Carson said
"You sure about that man?" Ed questioned with a smile of he knows he has it
"Yeah i know you took my bike man." Carson said towards Ed
"Okay...You can have it back. Just one thing." He said leaning on the house.
"What?" Carson asked
"RACE!" Ed screamed and took off like a speeding bullet
"Your on!" He said running as fast as he could chasing him down. "Carson come on we were supposed to go to the store and get our mother stuff while she is sick!" Rebecca yelled at him but they didn't listen and kept running.
"Why do i even try anymore!" She said as she looked at the soccer ball and looked at the trashcan she set it like a basket a week before. Looking at it then back at her ball. "Okay they will be back soon...if not today then tommorow." She said kicking her ball. She hit the ball a little too hard as it flew over the fence and into the neighbor's yard. With a thud she heard someone yell
"OW, Rebecca!" a man said with that she ran over there. "Rebecca we talked about this!"
"Yeah Frankie i am terribly sorry i didn't mean to my idiotic brother left and we we're suppose to go and get some stuff for our mother.
"Don't be sorry Rebecca well you should but just cause i am a nice person i am giving this back but don't assault me with it again." Frankie said giving her ball back "Be happy i am not Old Man Thomson." With that he sat back down on the beach chair and took picked up the news pap
"Hope Ruby is okay by the way. Well hope you have a good day." With that he went back to reading.
"Yeah me too." She said walking back to her house and rolling her ball into the porch and back into the house. and into the kitchen and turned on the small TV and went to the fridge to get something to eat and maybe a soda. "She walked to the counter with the TV on it and turned up the TV a little so she can hear it."This is weird day we have here Kelly will you explain how weird it is today" The news reporter said as the camera panned so its just her in the view
"Well how is it weird day today. Is that it's unexplainable weather. Its suppose to be 65 degrees but its a wopping 82 degrees. Well one thing for sure i like about today is that we are entering a nice warm fall. And i hope you had your flu shots cause this flu season hit and it hit hard in places like Minnesota, Florida, Kentucky, New York, Louisiana, Texas, and Georgia. Hope you take care of yourself out there people and we will be back after these messages." With that it went to commercial. With that Rebecca turned the TV off and finished off her sandwich and pop then to go upstairs into her room but was stop right as she heard hear brother and his friend run up the porch panting.
"Ha you are fast Carsom...but that was only cause you cut through Ms.Anderson's yard." as they sat on the porch and talked.
"How are things between you and Lilly been going." Ed asked
"Great, I have a date tonight." Carson said slightly panting
"Where and when!" He asked
"Yeah i will tell you!" Carson said with a big smile. "We are going umm...what is it called again...umm...oh yeah its called Non of your business."
"And where is that exactly?" Ed said with a smile but he knew what he meant
"Let me think its...right down the road a few blocks and its right here." With that he gave him a middle finger. "What do you think is it a good spot for a date?"
"You are a asshole." With a chuckle
"Yeah i am not gonna tell you she may kill you this time." Carson said
"Well it's not her fault she jumped!" Ed said
"No but it's your fault you got a mouth full of burger and what was left of her pop down your shirt and a bitch slap that brought you to your ass." Carson explained
"Well you got a point...I still can feel that day." With that Ed quivered

After a few seconds Rebecca opened the door. "About time!" She said angry to hell Rebecca is Carson's little sister who gets mad at him for lots of things, They get along some days but ever since he got his girlfriend with their cousin's friend. They were friends since that night when they partied for hours on hours. "Do you mind going to the store now." She said crossing her arms, "Cause if ma was up she would have killed you."
"Hey calm down..." Carson said as he took out his wallet and gaver her 10 dollars, "Here go play at the arcade or something we will get it done I already know what to get...plus i need to get a ITunes cause i want more music on my ipod." He said getting on his bike, "Ed you gonna come?"
"Hell yeah!" Ed said getting on his bike and they rode off
"There... that's better. They won't be back till morning will they..." She said looking at the money he gave her. "Well what can i do..." Right then she saw Lilly ride up on her bike with her little brother in a wagon rigged to her bike
"Hey you seen your brother around?" She asked her
"Yeah him and Ed went to the store they will be back..."She said "God don't even know how long they will be." She whispered to herself.
"Sorry what was that?" Lilly asked
"Oh sorry nothing."
"Hey you think my brother can lay on your couch for now he is sick to hell and i can't just leave him home alone while me and Carson are out."
"No i can watch him he is good with me."
"You sure Rebecca?"
"Sure." She said with excitement
"Well okay!"
"Oh i heard what you did to Ed." Rebecca said with a smile
"Oh you heard...how?"
"Over heard my brother and Ed talking....i couldn't stop laughing cause i imagined!"
After a while they finally got in the house and Lilly's little brother got on the couch and went back to sleep Lilly took the wagon off of her bike and put it in the closet where Carson told her if she needed to put it away if she needed.
"So what's wrong with him?" Asked Rebecca
"Flu but i am having second thoughts...when do you think i should take him in?" Lilly asked
"When ever you want." Rebecca explained right as they heard talking come from outside.
"Holy shit you gonna be okay man!" Carson said running into the house
"What happened!" Lilly said getting up fast
"Someone tried to fucking mug us....who ever it was fucking bit Ed right in the fucking arm and he is fucking losing blood fast come on help me!" He said grabbing the pillow case and running back out
"Wait we got a first aid kit!" Rebecca said jumping the couch and running to the bathroom as Lilly ran outside to help Carson stop the bleeding
"Rebecca grab the first aid kit then call the fucking ambulance!" Carson said from outside
"Fuck man fuck fuck fuck FUCK!!!!!" Carson was screaming "REBECCA HURRY THE FUCK UP!" Ed lied on the ground with his arm bleeding and Ed freaking out he was alright when they ran but when they got to the house which was a five miles away from the store and he got too weak and fell off his bike a block away so Carson left their bikes and lugged Ed back to the house and put him on the porch. "Come on lets bring him in the house!" Lilly said looking and noticing the screaming and seeing a few of them walk towards them. "Carson!" She screamed pointing at them.
"Fuck come on lets take him inside..." Out of nowhere they heard Rebecca scream bloody murder!
"Come on help me lug him in quick!" He said trying to pick him up.
"Alright." Lilly said helping him bring him in. As they put him on the couch Lilly noticed that her little cousin wasn't on the couch where she put him.
"Come on get the fuck off of me Kyle!" Rebecca screamed
"Get off of her!" Lilly screamed grabbing him and picking him up. He looked at her with his dead eyes and tried to grab her.
"Put him in here he is too insane for right now!" Rebecca yelled pulling Lilly in to the bathroom where Lilly put him down where he tried to bite her but she pushed him back and closed the door.
"Why did he do that!" Rebecca screamed looking at the door scared out of her mind
"Don't know what he is like that!" Lilly screamed looking around
"Carson what are you doing?" Lilly asked him as he walked to the fireplace
"Look if it's that bad so i we need weapons!" He said as he grabbed the Fire Poker and tossed it to Rebecca and he went to the closet taking out a golf set a baseball bat a few baseballs and a BB Gun. "Take your pick guys we are gonna need protection." He said picking up a golf club and putting it in his belt loop on the side of his pants.
"Wait Ed you okay?" Rebecca asked him as he turned with a bloody mouth and the bite on him was swelling and looked really painful but he didn't care about it and lunged at Rebecca."Hey Ed what you doing?" Right as he pushed him back and started to back up to avoid him.
"Hey Ed keep away from her!" Carson said trying to get the gold club out of his belt loop.
"Ed back off i don't want to hurt you back away!" Rebecca screamed swinging the fire poker at him.
"Get away from her!" Carson screamed as he put the gold club around the front of his chest and swing him around and pushed him back then took a swing and bashed him in the side of the chest. "Back off man!" Carson screamed with a tear in his eye. Ed just got up and looked at him that swing he took at him must have broken a rib or a couple but he ignored it. Ed just started to walked towards Carson slowly reaching for him. "Get away from him!" Lilly screamed swinging the bat hitting him in the back of the head with a loud crack sending Ed sprawling on the floor dead.
"You okay!" Lilly said running up to Carson while he was on his knees over Ed's dead body.
"Yeah...i am just why would he go at me like that...why did he try to bite me or why did he lunge at Rebecca?" Carson said
"Look we need to get to see what's happening..." Lilly said right as they heard Rebecca turned on the TV in the kitchen
"Look Henry we are experiencing the worse pandemic in history worse then the Spanish Flu..." Was interrupted by her turning the channel
"...STAY IN DOORS WHAT EVERY IS FUCKING HAPPENING YOU NEED TO BARRICADE AND..." She turned off the TV and cleared the table.
"What the hell you doing!?!" Carson said
"We are fucking blocking the doors and windows if there are more of those... Those fucking things we need to be ready for more of those mother fuckers!" She said flipping the table and pushing it towards the kitchen door. "Where are the hammers and nails?"
"They are in the garage I think... But check under the sink first." Carson said walking into the living room.
"What the fuck are you doing?"
"Gonna barricade the fucking big ass window in here." Carson said pushing the couch towards the window "Yo Lilly I need your help!"
With a couple good pushes they got the couch against the window and they started to grab chairs the coffee table and what ever they could to barricade the window. Lilly ran to the door and looked out the mail slot and saw a few at the door so she got up and locked the doors. "The wagon what ever we got!" With that Carson ran in the room with a hammer and a box full of nails.
"Grab the boards in the garage the garage door is also closed just hurry up!" He said ramming against the door like they were getting through
"Where is Rebecca?"with that they heard a loud crash in the kitchen so Carson's instinct was to protect family so he ran in there with the hammer ready to swing.
"Don't worry!" She said trying to push the table against the back door
"No not there in here it's blocked off so we don't need to worry about the till the doors are blocked up here." With that he helped her push the table into the living room and they put the table against the door in a angle and started pounding nails into it
"Gonna grab the boards be right back!" Lilly said obviously scared
With that she ran into the garage through the Kitchen
