Lovely dew kisses on her roses, made her smile,
her garden brought her joy, made life worthwhile.
Oh, how she loved their fragrance on a sunny day.
in her garden, her mind escapes to a place so far away.

She didn’t hear his footsteps approach.
he wonders who’s on her mind, dare he broach
He studies the intimate image, she does portray,

He can’t help himself, the accusations fly, he is furious.
Once again, she tells him his behavior is absolutely insidious.
Why does he always spoil everything by acting this way,

She glances once more at her lovely blooming rose,
