You shouldn't have drank from that freaking faucet, we are in New Orleans! (Alliteration)
Gailey gasped at the good dose of elixir
for her sad state of sudden stomach spasms.
She shouldn't have drank from that freaking faucet,
we are in New Orleans!
Now the woman's pacing in pain,
spewing out a string of
desultory
words which definitely doesn't seem to have a
darn thing to do with anything!
I try twice to get Gailey to take another dose,
but she radically refuses.

At long last, the dapper doctor arrives
and seeing the animated, aggressive, high-spirited
state of Gailey, at once orders for her to be sedated.

Patting the
moisture from my face,
I thoughtfully thank the diligent doc.
I let out a sigh of relief,
hoping the quiet won't be brief.
