Wayne, my brother you left the family and went to heaven.

Brother Wayne

Wayne, you left the family and went to heaven.
From Agent Orange in two thousand and seven.
So you now rest on independence cemetery hill.
I'll come often to visit your grave if it's God's will.

We'll talk of our memories when we were young.
Before you left to serve in the Vietnam's hot sun.
You served honorably in the Army for your term.
It was hard, still you served and took your turn.

So you were given deadly Agent Orange's cancer.
A lot of troops and yourself were given no answer.
Many were never compensated for it's deadliness.
You finally were compensated a hundred percent.

Why does anyone try to keep compensation away?
From the vet's who gave their best over many days
Let politician's take their place and serve their term.
Give the Vet's a break and let others take their turn.
