Now… This is going to be sort of a blog, but I’m also asking a question here. Is it within human nature to laugh at someone?
This got me thinking when I went to go and sign my EMA for the day (system where the government pay 6th form students to go to school… Yeah). Every student on the EMA program has to go and sign a resister at lunch time, the register was not put out, due to someone probably forgetting, when I saw this I muttered “great” under my breath, some CLC pupils who were waiting for taxi’s to come and pick them up heard this and started to laugh. Why? Is it really human to laugh at someone’s misfortune, or difficulties? Are human beings really programmed at that level of un-human behavior? If it is, I don’t really want to be in this world is that is true. But I often say to friends…
Life is like a river
Either go with the flow
Try to swim against it
Or sit at the bank and fish.
