In the End I Am Me

Truth be known, I've failed at most

Despite my passions sight

Crippled by this repugnant world

Dark tunnel, No light

My head pounds as thoughts run through

No rest for me just yet

Pressure builds deep inside

So much I cannot forget

Forgive, forget? Is this possible?

This I cannot seem to acheive

I can't let it go that easily

You must answer for what you've done to me!

I am here!!! Don't make me disappear

I have a face I have a name

What I have to say you have to hear

Listen to me!! Listen to me!!

I do in fact exist

My anger rises rapidly

My hands clenched in fists

See me for what I am not for what you expect

I am here and I am me, please treat me with respect!

Your expectations are unattainable

For I am not who you think I should be

I am your disappointment

But in the end, I am me!!!!
