Romantic Poem
Do my commands obey in love’s submission
Do not delay and tarry in vain pleasures
For you to me the mystic rites have bound
What means the call of slavers with their wage
To snare unwary heart of Eve with glitter
Our hearth and heart adjoined dominion thee
Enjoined to serve and serviced be in care
Why fetch the growl with insubordination
When in supplication sweet resides the tender
And longing adoration due your beauty
Loveliness and mystery created splendor
Waste not brief time in grasping golden rings
But yield to rings that bind and free the inner
Bright, shining, mighty, gentle, woman be
In binding him with love be made in bindings free
