Meeting someone and falling in love should be easier

We spend so much time arguing about our special needs
Neither of use wants to compromise or sow the first seed.

You sleep during the days and work all night
I work, play and party anytime it’s within my right

Your aim is to please me by getting me into your bed
I want you to wine and dine me, let me into your head.

Being good in bed and cooking for me is ideal to you
For me some quality time with you pampering me will do

Showing me off to your friends and family like a new toy
Make me feel used, unappreciated and mostly annoyed

The two of us together is a very bad idea, it’s creepy
If we were meant to be it would not feel so scary

Pleasing each other and showing how much we care
