Donna launches her strategy.
A bomb had gone off between the Queensway and Lancaster Gate stations.  While no fatalities or serious injuries were being reported, the Underground was shut down until a search could ensure there were no others.

There'd been warnings that the Markak Jihad group was planning something.  The Director had tried to skirt the issue.  Now he'd have to get off the fence.

"Director, we need to use our intel if we're ever going to get ahead of this," said Donna Williams.  Fresh from successful field work, Donna had been brought into Central to deal with the outbreak of terrorism.  She had a plan, only needing the go ahead.

"All right.  Approved.  Activate your network," the Director said.

Donna left Central and headed for a pub in Belgravia.  Lousy rainy weather.  She was definitely back in London.  The Captain's Roost was dry and warm.  She smoothed her skirt as she slid into a side booth to join the group.

"It worked," Donna smiled.  "No one hurt, and the old man gave his authorization.  Now we act"

"You're sure a gambler," Mike said.  Mike was Donna's lieutenant.  "If you're ready to roll the dice again, we've uncovered an upcoming attack."

"Good.  Give me a quick rundown," Donna said.

"Target is the intersection of Fleet Street and the A201."

"Car bomb."

"An old Morris."

"Can we protect the area, and retime the blast?" asked Donna.

"Consider it done," replied Mike.

"All right, execute," Donna concluded.

Two days later, the headlines screamed "Home Grown Terrorist Attack Goes Wrong".

The reports described a small explosion at a London intersection that had taken the lives of a pair of bombers.  Something hadn't worked the way they planned.

Donna's strategy was underway.
