Angel opened his eyes,His body shaking in numbing pain.Then he realized that he was trapped under a car door. It must have come off during the wreck.He pushed the door off with his remaining strength. Then he climbed to his feet, he was a bit unsteady at first. But he could walk. The first thing that came to his mind, was his little brother Sam. As he walked slowly to the wreckage, he could already see that Sam was okay, and out of the car. Sam ran to his big brother,fearing the worst. Sam noticed the briuses, and burns, that Angel had gained in the wreck. But before Sam could say anything,Angel asked, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, but we should call for help."Sam said

"Why?" Angel asked

"For you, of course!"Sam said,"Do you still have that cell phone?"

Angel reached in his pocket to find his cell phone, the screen was cracked, but it looked like it could still be used. Angel gave it to Sam. Sam dialed 911, while Angel sat up against the car, or what was left of the car.

Sam handed the phone back after the call was made, and then a few moments later they could hear sirens in the distance. Angel sighed with relief, Sam sat down beside him. And when Sam looked over at Angel he could see how really bad Angel was injured. There was a gash on Angel's forehead, A burn from the road on Angel's arm going all the way up it, and his pant leg was torn open so Sam could see a gash that bleed very heavily.

The sirens were getting closer by the minute, Though Angel didn't seem to care.

"Hey, Angel. Shouldn't we call Mom and Dad?"Sam asked

"Yeah."Angel replied painfully

Angel handed Sam the phone, and Sam dialed the old familar number.His Mom answered,"Yes,Angel."

Sam forgot he was using his brother's phone,"Mom, is dad there?"

"Sam what are you doing on Your brother's phone?"Thier mom said

"Is Dad there?"Sam asked again

"Yes, why?"Thier Mom Answered

"Can you put it on speaker?"Sam asked

"Why, has something happened?"Thier mother asked worriedly

"Yes, but I think you and Dad both need to know." Sam said

"Okay, I'll put it on speaker."She said

Sam heard her call thier father over, then he heard a beep.He'd guessed that she had put it on speaker.

"Hey, what is Sammy?"Thier father asked

"Dad, we've been in a car crash."Sam said

"What?"Thier Dad said in disbelief

"What? Are you okay? Is Angel okay?"Thier mother asked

"I'm fine, but Angel's not so good.But the Ambulance is on the way."Sam said

"Oh my god! Tell us what hospital it is when they get there."Thier mom said

"They're here, I'll ask, hang on."Sam said

Thier Mom and Dad heard the line go silent for a moment.

Then Sam's voice came back on the line," They said Central Hospital, I've got to go they're loading Angel up right now."

"Okay, call us if we're not there at least within a few hours."Thier mother said

"Okay mom, bye."Sam said

"Bye, we love you." thier father said

Sam hung up.

At the hospital, Sam waited outside for his parents. When his parents got there the first thing they asked about was Angel.Sam told them to follow him.

When they got there, Angel was asleep, he looked so calm, as if nothing was wrong.

Sam walked over by the bed and sat in a chair beside it.

"Oh my god!"Thier mother said,quietly being careful not to wake Angel.

"Are you the parents?" Someone asked

Thier parents turned around to see a nurse.

"Yes we are." Thier father said

"Oh well, I guess you'd like to know about his injuries."The nurse said

"Yes, we would." Thier mother said

"Well, he's got about four broken ribs. His left leg is broken, oh and he hit his head pretty hard, so he probably won't remember the crash."The nurse said ]

"Thank you." Thier father said

"Your welcome." the nurse turned and left.

"I can't believe this. What do we do?" Thier mother said as she looked At thier father

"I don't know we'll think of something though."he said

Thier mother started crying, thier father held her as she cried.

Later on, they were still waiting on Angel to wake up.Thier mother had stopped crying, now she was just worried. Thier Dad had gone to work, he had nightshift.

Sam just stayed there quietly waiting for Angel to wake up.

But suddenly, Angel stirred.Sam saw thier mother's eyes fill with hope.

Angel groaned slightly, then he opened his eyes.

"Where am I? What happened?"Angel asked, his voice weak and frail.

"I'm so glad you're awake Angel, you're in the hospital, you were in a car wreck."Thier mother said

"Oh, I don't remember."Angel said wearily

Just then Thier father walked in.

"Honey, I thought you were at work."Thier mother said

"I was, they sent me Back after they heard about Angel."He said

"Dad?"Angel said

"Angel! I didn't even notice you were awake. What is it son?"He asked

"I bet the Car is totaled." Angel said

" It is, but don't worry about it. You're way more important than a car."Thier father said

"We're just glad you're okay, honey."Thier mother chimed in.
