Keiran learn that not all dominance is bad and that submission do not make her weak.
Keiran critically scanned her own image in the mirror, her grey green eyes travelled down her black leather pants and the black long sleeve shirt she was wearing to the black boots. She dropped the black cloak over her shoulders and walked to the bed. She ran her fingers over the weapons on the bedspread. A very rare smile spread over her lips. It took only a few moments for her to strap the short sword and four daggers into their places. She left the hotel room without as much as a backwards look.

The wind swept her long red auburn hair into her as face as the train swept into the station. There were not many people on it this late and they avoided her. By appearance she did not stand out from them, but they instinctively avoided getting to close. The assassin was on the hunt and that made a sense of power flowing from her.

At downtown station she got out and stared walking to the huge park in the inner city that separated the lesser wealthy neighbourhoods from the super wealthy. She kept mostly to the shadows. she was above all trying to avoid being seen.

She stuck mostly to the alleyways. It was in one of these that she ran into a small group of high and drunken men. Before she could disappear from the alley they had her surrounded. "How bout us having some fun Sweet,", their leader slurred in her ear, as he tried to pull her close.Keiran's eyes darkened as she sent him flying over her shoulder. His six companions grabbed metal pipes and surrounded her.

her voice was eerily calm and soft as she spoke. She stood relaxed, as if there was nothing of danger to her. "Firstly-no one calls me Sweet. Secondly, i have little time for this." They attacked almost a once. She seemed to dance between them and it is as if they were hit by a hurricane. She send them sprawling to he ground, bleeding and cursing.

there was a sudden movement behind her and she spun snarling under her breath. The cloaked and hooded figure behind her held his hands in the air. "Peace little one." she bristled but did not attack. The cloaked figure walked to the leader and the first one she sent flying. He removed something from the unconscious man's pocket. "Just taking back what they taken from me." He said, "I was tracking them. Thank you for your help." The strong voice had a chuckle to it. The owner of the voice bowed and then urned around and left.

It was time to clear the scene as she could hear the sound of sirens. She stepped into the park and very soon was at the other side of it. She shrugged into a pose less threatening when she reached Gargoyle Park and its many castle like houses. Here the dangers were different. Here the many private security held danger. She glanced at her watch. She did not loose too much time during that incident in the alleyway.

The house she was looking for was secluded from the others with a small wood of its own. It looked like a castle. Tonight she was no here to take the house's owner down. Her target was coming here on a contract for his bosses.. She chuckled humorlessly. No one in their right mind would ever, ever associate her with saving lives. In the last five years she built up a reputation as a very deadly person.

"The Shadow" was what they called him. He was their deadliest assassin. And the one that she was going to get to first. Keiran watched the the building knowing that very soon they would face each other again.

She was on a very personal mission this evening. This hit was very very personal. The man owning this place was influential and feared for he was a deadly man himself. Keiran had no quarrel with him, and no reason for doing what she was planning for any other reason that by taking out her target she would frustrate both his and her enemies. And she was sending them a hopefully not too subtle message. That she was coming.

The hover motor stopped in the front of the castle. From the forest Keiran watched the man in his suit get out. The movement in the shadows behind his back sent her into action. She hit the man just stepping out the shadows at full force, her sword cutting into the arm he raised as she hit his body. As the blood ran down it he knocked her sword from her hand.  The Shadow had far more experience in fighting and killing than she did. But she had something he had not.

Even as he kicked her backwards her body shifted into that of a reddish brown colored wolf. She circled keeping his front, hands and face facing her. She jumped forward taking nips that left him bleeding in several places.

She launched herself into the air and knocked him down and ripped at his throat tearing a huge hole into his windpipe and nipping the side of his neck as she jumped back her teeth tore open his jugular vein. Even as he fell metal gleamed in his hand. She was not quite fast enough and something sharp shred through her flesh leaving a bloody line over her chest and her shoulder.

Yelping she fell and he stumbled to his feet moving to her wheezing and gasping and bloody. Keiran tried willing her body to respond to move....He was a few steps from her when the man from the hover motor was behind him. The light left the Shadow's eyes the same time as the very sharp blade protruded from his chest, as a very sharp sword was driven into him from behind.

She scrambled to her feet and out of his way as he came crashing down. She fled to the forest as security men came running on the scene. She left blood behind her. She didn't have enough strength to phase back to her human form. Wildly she fled into the forest. She kept moving till her body collapsed.

There was a rustling of leaves as something moved towards her from the direction she came. A fierce growl sounded up and she tried to stand, blood oozed in greater amounts from her wound and the black haze of unconsciousness washed over her as the smartly dressed man from the hover motor stepped with the blood covered blade in front of her.
