Our World

Well I am new to Writing.com, and I will be the first to admit I am not a good writing. However, I decided I would like to try my luck at it and see where it goes from there. This is my first piece and I am just using this to get my name out there. So before I bore you away from reading this article let me tell you what I want to talk about. I can not be the only person that thinks our world is going down hill, hate to break it to those of you that don't believe me but the truth hurts. One of our biggest problems is the fact that we can't help each other out, I mean really if you have a job, a car, a house, and food on the table every night whats one dollar to a homeless person. OK, so maybe they made a bad decision or two, whether it be dropping out of school, getting hooked on drugs or alcohol, whatever. But who are we to decide if a person gets a second chance or not? Put yourselves in their shoes, your sitting on the side of the road, you dont have two pennies to rub together and people are just walking past you, hurts doesn't it? My point exactly, and maybe you dont have a dollar to spare, thats fine how about showing common curtesy. Do me a favor, anyone that reads this, if you can spare it, hand the next homeless person a buck. If you can't, when you seem them walk up to them and shake their hand. Becasue you know what, they are stronger than you or I, for the simple fact that they have nothing, yet they still fight through it. The point of this random, off-topic, and horribly written article is because I for one am sick of how me made this world. Do you want your children, and your children's children to grow up in a world like this? War, famine, abuse, hostilaty, crime... I can go on for days, but the point being is that if we want our world to prosper then we need to get our heads out of our asses, stick up for one another, and make this place a world worth living in.
