Brian will do anything to be with Lizzy. Nothing can stop him. Well...almost nothing
Ice Cream: Chapter 2
Again, thanks to Meg! Without her, my writing would be a huge mess! Now for the story, Enjoy!

"So," I said trying to sound as cool as possible. "Eliza Kate." She giggled and pushed a loose strand of her bright red hair away from her face.

"I perfer Lizzy," she replied, then gulped down a large amount of coffee. That only made me like her more. I smiled and swirled my double latte with extra foam around in my cup. When we ordered our coffee I decided to impress her by asking for something fancy. Then, she walked up and made me look like an idoit by ordering a large plain black coffee. Now, I was stuck with this gross goo, while she was guzzling her coffee like an alcoholic with beer.

"Brian, do you take all people you bump into out to coffee?" Lizzy said with a look of pure curoisity.

"Well that depends," I said leaning back in my seat.

"Depends on what?" She tilted her head to one side. I leaned back farther.

"If I think they're worth taking out to coffee." She fixed her bright blue eyes on me. I hadn't noticed her eyes before. I was lost in them, then BAM! I was on the floor, my chair tipped over. Lizzy glanced over at me, laughing uncontrollably.

"Brian!" she said between large laughs. "Why did you lean back so far?" I sat up, even more embarrased then ever before. She came over the help me up. When she grabbed my hand, I was blinded. Flashes of brilliant color flooded my vision. I got to my feet, dazed. She was still smiling, as if she didn't notice what had just happened between us. Lizzy's watch beeped.

"Darn," she said glancing down. "I have to go to work. Hey, do you want to come get some ice cream with me?"

"Ice cream? We just had coffee! Lizzy, I didn't know you were that eager for our next date."

"No, I work and an ice cream shop, and who said it was a date?"

"It can be a date if you want it to be. " I was completely serious but she laughed as she shrugged on her coat. "Lets go," she wispered as she grabbed my hand. Then, we were out the door and back into the rain.
