The Last Days: Scene 1

Preview:

         The girls in the monorary town of Shishiwanna were going down town to talk to the police officer. It was summer on July 15th, 2009. It happened early that school year for the 6 girls have a mystery to solve. There were 6 friends from Carrolina high school. Their was Katie, Kaitlyn, Kim, Annie, Jordan, and Melissa. One morning they were walking to Kaitlyns house then heading to community service for a while, and that day changed their lives. Their friend Melissa got hit by a truck, flew in to the air, and landed on her back legs. Kaitlyn called the police, in a hurry, they showed up and rushed her to the hospital.

         After community service ended Katie, Kaitlyn, Kim, Annie, and Jordan went to the hospital to see how Melissa was doing. She was in room B666 and wasn't doing so good either. Her heart was slowing down, her legs were broken, and she could barely talk to anyone. Lets start this from the beginning, Katie just got back from her trip to Austrailia with her family for the school year. Summer was just about to start at Carrolina high school. Katie was at Australia for the whole ninth grade. It was 2009 and it was July 10th. It was five days before the accident.



ACT I:

SCENE 1: Sunday evening around 3 heading to community service on July 10th.



Narrator 1:

         It was early summer of 2009, while the girls were going to community service.  Katie is the tall one with black long hair and brown eyes. Kaitlyn is the short one with long purple hair and brown eyes. Kim is the second tallest that had long purple hair and blue eyes. Annie is the third tallest with short black hair and brown eyes. Jordan is the second shortest that had long blue hair and hazel eyes. Finally, Melissa is the third shortest that has long red hair and brown eyes. Melissa was the one that always had the followers because she was popular, but the girls figured out some stuff about her during the summer of 2008.



Katie:

         So are you guys ready for community service at the old folk hospital house? I'm going to visit Leanna again. She always has good stories to tell me about her past.



Melissa:

         Oh shut it katie you deal with all the boring old people. I always have the old grumppy grandpa. Annie always has the loser single grandmother. Kaitlyn has the little miget girl that can barely talk. Kim has the grandpa that has nothing to ever say that's nice, and Jordan always has the loser old sister with no family left to visit her.



Annie:

         What you talking about Melissa? Your grandpa isn't grumppy only when he's with you he is because you have nothing good to ever say to anyone!



Melissa:

         Whatever annie I wouldn't be the one talking you one eyed boy freak! Your so obssessing over boys that you see at school.



Narrator 2:

         The girls showed up at the old folk hospital house, and they went to their person that they were visiting that day. It is a different person everytime they go. Melissa had Mell, Jordan had Kassi, Katie had Leanna, Annie had Leonna, Kim had Kasey, and Kaitlyn had Layden.



Desk Lady:

         Hello, how may I be a service to you today ladies?



Katie:

         Can you let Leanna, Mell, Kassi, Leonna, Kasey, and Layden that Katie, Melissa, Jordan, Annie, Kim, and Kaitlyn are here to see them please and thank you.



Desk Lady:

         Sure thing hold on. (called out) Leanna, Mell, Kassi, Leonna, Kasey, and Layden you have visiters.



Narrator 3:

         Leanna came up from her room, Mell came from the couch, Kassi came from the garden, Leonna came from her room, and Layden came from her lounge chair. Katie went up to Leanna, Melissa went up to Mell, Jordan went up to Kassi, Annie went up to Leonna, and Kaitlyn went up to Layden.



Katie:

         Hi Leanna, My name is Katie, you remember me?



Leanna:

         Well hello there Katie. Of course I remember you. I told you about my son the last time I had you over here. You are such a wonderful child. What's on your mind child?



Katie:

         What do you think of our friend Melissa?



Leanna:

         Well my dear why you asking a question like that? She's an alright girl, but that's all I'm going to say.



Narrator 1:

         While Katie and Leanna chat Jordan was chatting with Kassi.



Jordan:

         Hi Kassi, you should remember me, do you?



Kassi:

         Of course I do Jordan how could I forget you. The last time you were here you helped me with my flowers. What's on your mind?



Jordan:

         What do you think of our friend Melissa?



Kassi:

         She's alright I guess I mean she destroyed my garden when she was with me. That's why when I had you the last time you helped me with the garden planting the new flowers in it.



Jordan:

         Oh yeah I forgot that you told me that. She's not being such a good friend to us either. You need help in the garden again?



Kassi:

         Yes I do. Will you help me plant the new flowers I just bought? They need to be planted and watered too.



Jordan:

         Yeah I'll help you. I'll plant them and then you can water them after. Sound like a deal?



Narrator 2:

         Jordan and Kassi headed out to the garden to start planting again. Then Annie and Leonna were chatting.



Annie:

         How are you today Leonna? What have you been up too?



Leonna:

         I've just been making some sweat shirts for you and your friends. What's on your mind today Annie?



Annie:

         What do you think of our friend Melissa?



Leonna:

         The last time she was with me she told me to get out and die. She's not so nice.



Annie:

         Yeah, I know she's not. She's not being so nice to us right now either so I know how you feel.



Narrator 3:

         Annie and Leonna kept talking and knitting. Then Kaitlyn and Layden were chatting.



Kaitlyn:

         Hi Layden, you remember me?



Layden:

         Of course I remember you. You helped me build my lounge chair. I still use it, too. How you been? What's on your mind today?



Kaitlyn:

         I've been good. What do you think of our friend Melissa?



Layden:

         She's alright I guess. She destroyed all my belongings the last time I was with her, and threw a big temper.



Kaitlyn:

         Yeah she isn't being nice to any of us girls right now. So what are we doing today?



Narrator 1:

         Kaitlyn and Layden went to her room and started making some shorts for the girls. Then Mell was talking to Melissa.



Mell:

         So how are you doing Melissa?



Melissa:

         Don't bother me while I'm filing my nails. I need to keep my looks up for all the people that look upon me.



Narrator 2:

         Mell sat back down on the couch and started playing cards again. Then it was around 7 and they started packing up their things to leave.



Katie:

         Well it was good to see you again Leanna. I'll see you soon.



Leanna:

         Alright deary see you the next time.



Kaitlyn:

         See you soon Layden. Thanks for the shorts.



Layden:

         It's always a good time being with you. See you soon.
