This is about Eternal's main character, Kaley, and the person she fell for, Darth.
Kaley's eyes widened. She was moving and quick adrenaline now. She could see the horror in Darth's expression. Darketh seemed to chuckle evilly.
"NO!" Kaley screamed, throwing herself in front of Darth right as the black blade struck. Images flashed behind Kaley's eyes - Aten stabbing Darth, Zora holding the sword to Darketh's neck, Utan holding the sword with an expression of horror. Kaley felt her blood spill from the gash. The cold, hard ground came fast, dotting her vision. She couldn't hear. Couldn't smell. Couldn't speak. She was numb - mentally and physically. Coughing, Kaley stared at the black-red blood that spilled out of her mouth. She was shaking violently.
Darketh looked stricken. Shocked in every way. Kaley wanted to laugh in his face and scream with victory. Darth dropped down beside her, his face pale. Kaley forced a small smile. He's alive, she thought happily.

"Kaley!" Darth cried, holding her fragile, bloody body in his arms. Her head rolled back slightly; she was staring at him. Darth's lower lip quivered. Oh, please don't go, Darth thought sadly, feeling his chest swell. His throat closed and he let out a little choked noise.
Kaley touched his cheek with her bloody fingers lightly. Her smile was faint, but it was there. Glowing brightly.
"You're okay," she whispered, "I thought you were going to be hurt again." Darth sucked in a small bit of air.
"Kaley, you're hurt. Very badly." he whispered softly. Kaley's eyes rolled back slightly and she coughed up a little more blood. Blinking, she stared up at him again. Her eyes were a deep silver. Darth felt tears press towards him. Blinking them back, he held Kaley closer.
Darketh chuckled loudly. Zora, who in tied herself, grabbed his sword and stabbed him in the back. He wailed loudly, black blood pouring out of his mouth. He fell to the ground, twitching and screaming. Zora winced and stared at her father.
"Darth-"
"Hold on," Darth spat at Zora, his eyes narrowed. They shined, wet with tears. Slowly he turned back to Kaley. She's going to die, Darth thought sadly.
"yeah....?" Kaley whispered to him, her eyes barely closed. Darth's eyes widened in horror. He held her closer and shook her slightly.
"Don't you dare close your eyes!" he scolded. Kaley groaned.
"Darth, I-" she coughed up more blood, "I'm going to be just fine. Now shut up." Kaley stared up at him, a cold, hard stare. Darth bit his lower lip.
"I love you... Don't go...." he whispered. Kaley's eyes widened.
"You WHAT?"
"I love you! With all my heart!" Darth confessed, wiping his own tears with Kaley's bloody sleeve. "I always will, always did. You can't bail on me now," he shook Kaley's body lightly.
"Too bad," Kaley said, yawned, and got closer to Darth. "I'm tired," rubbing her eyes with her bloody sleeve, she closed her eyes. Darth's tears spilled, landing on Kaley's colorless cheeks. She breathed lightly. It was hard to notice she was moving at all.
"I love you," Darth said for the third time. Leaning down, he kissed the top of her head.
