How Brother Nature Got His Name

Gather round and I'll explain
how Brother Nature got his name.

A lawn-care business that I began,
naming it well, was part of the plan.

Mother named me Joel at birth.
I was one of six and not the first.

One tormented girl and five rowdy boys,
could you imagine our parents' joys?

As children, we learned to help each other,
so it was in my heart to be a brother.

Now the names, Brother Grass, or  Brother Lawn,
one too lame - the other... yawn.

I'm almost done just one more line,
I may almost make this whole poem rhyme.

I'm fading fast, and wasting time,
I'm going to open a bottle of wine.

Too much wine!  That's it!    I'm done!

I thought writing a poem would make this fun.
.
But to make a long story short...
Brother Nature is the name of my lawn-care business, and I use it as my email address, social networking handle, blog title, and here on Writing.com too.
