Just something i wrote last night
Nothing so lonely, a world so black
My dear my dear please won’t you come back
A soul a soul I look for a man
A woman a child to hold my hand
A mirror a glass, step up and see
A wish will be granted, just give over a fee
A soul a soul I seek a man
A woman a child to give me a hand
The cards the cards so false so true
Giving past, future but you, oh you
Are my dear a prize to be shown
Not easily gotten, but easily won
My dear my dear please have a care
Desire is not so fair
So lovely so sweet you are to be
But hardly the kind I wish to seek
A soul a soul I wish for a man
A woman a child to take this hand
And lead it up to its death
I must I must have your head
Twinkle twinkle a star so so
The mirror looks the world aglow
But my dear, my dear don’t forget
Alice and her little watch-ed pet
A hare a mouse a cup of tea
A queen her court of frivolity
My dear my dear a wish this old
Can be not thought but foretold
A place a place I seek a page
The words so fancy so out of stage
A soul a soul a wee little man
A woman, a child please take my hand
Don’t wander this wonder, a trick of the mind
I’d hate to think my dear what you’d find
My hand is tied should this image break
I fear my dear my dear a soul to take
My name my name I wish to tell
Not so hard one syllable
Don’t wish don’t dream
A desire so sweet it burns, it gleams
A soul a soul I want a man
A woman a child to forsake this hand
I’ll take you there on your whim
But no giving back should it turn so grim
A child a child I know you are there
Please my dear my dear have a care
So fun so free nothing but light
The world I’m afraid still turns to night
The dark the candle a flame not here
Will swallow you my dear I fear
So please oh please take a word
And learn this turn, I’m not a bird
To repeat, repeat the same
This is not some silly game
To play for keeps I do, you know
This is not just for show
A soul a soul I see a man
A woman a child trying to take my hand
So fancy so haute I think not
Wander in wonders it can be bought
For you I think a wish is of need
No no no, please don’t plead
Of grace of truth I’ll grant it to you
But don’t forget that king that fool
Much desire much greed
Of gold of gold no god could feed
A wish a want is given if asked
I’ll sit behind and let you bask
In the light in the fun my dear
But wishes only last so long I fear
The glamour the allure will dull will fade
And stuck so stuck will the choice you made
A name a name I have but one
A soul a soul I know it will come
The tears the tears they fall the same
Nothing so lonely yet you give me blame
I’ve given not once but more
Not taken nothing taken from you not torn
A soul a soul I hunt for a man
A woman a child to grab my hand
So lonely so lonely this world of fun
The mirror the mirror has turned and run
Don’t leave don’t go my dear my dear
A wish I grant I’ll grant I’ll give
Just take this glass take a glance
A rabbit a queen a hare, madman too
Look how they dance, look at the fools
They cry they cry the birds fly north
They want they need you for all your worth
Please oh please have a care
Nothing but fancy but lies lay there
The queen so fun so free
Has hand in death, her frivolity
The rabbit so charming so rare
Is the allure the net so do beware
The madman the hare are not so bad
But truly so truly who isn’t mad
I warn I warn beware beware
Cause I have an interest in you my dear my dear
A soul a soul I fought this man
A woman a child they took hold of my hand
My name my name on the cusp of air
Nothing my dear I fear will take you from there
Nothing back I give I bargain you’ll see
But what’s in this for me, for me
You oh please nothing the least
A soul a soul is all I seek
The mirror of glass just a peek
To a place a place that we all seek
So free a wonder for all
But beware beware wonders will fall
The tears the tears how they seem so sad
But my dear my dear I’d rather be mad
The anger the anger how I wish for the fear
So please oh please give them here
Oh Alice oh Alice she didn’t leave there
It’s hard so hard when a mirror can disappear
A hand this hand I’ll extend I’ll lend
Please take please grab your will must bend
A soul a soul I have a heart
But hardly worthy when it’s miles apart
From mind from body it’s nothing really
So sensitive so weak so silly
But please my dear my dear
Don’t cry don’t cry
I’ll give you a chance to say your goodbye
Hello hello, are you new so fresh
Do you have a desire a wish?
A soul a soul I seek a man
A woman a child will take this hand
My name is nothing but lies
The truth I find is followed by whys oh whys
I don’t tell your secret I’ll keep
However I do have a fee
So please oh please my dear my dear
Have a care I’m a trickster I fear
Nothing gained nothing won
But you will have some fun
Take this hand so easy to take
I must hint though to your mistake
All desire they burn they burn
So sweet so lovely in the fire I build
For fantasy for fun it’s all that you will
Come child my child have thy fill.
