absent minded professor, ivy leagues at my door.
The talk of love, and the feelings I never had,
The shrink stayed in his recession; I’m long gone and there is no cure.

This first kiss at my door,
the sweet smell of the ocean on our first date at the shore.
The memories of every time we touch,
they help rape the disconnection thoughts of when I miss you so much.

The smell of your devotion,
the way you try so hard still.
The way you sweep me off my feet with every romantic notion,
the way I fall; with you its like time stands still.

I think love is too weak,
to these feelings of perfection you tend to give me.
Like water, to live I need to drink,
like oxygen, with every breath I feel you inside of me.

I don't know how best to describe how love is just a word.
