Shield and Sword



Once argument arose between shield and sword as to who is superior. Shield said, sword ! you just know to cut. You do not bother to know whether the person is innocent or guilty. Even after drinking blood you remain thirsty. You always enjoy after performing your killer dance. You cannot realize the pain a mother suffers after loosing her son. After loosing her son she weeps throughout her life. You do not know the meaning of mercy, duty and justice. You just know your duty is to cut. Shield further added, Look! I am that great power which always counters your cutting edge. I am always greater than you, since I stop death and give chance of life to all.
Sword replied, Shield ! you always speak the truth. To cut is my duty so I find no fault in it. You do not know that all brave persons always loved me. I shine exceptionally
like a lightening making a flash and then a thundering sound in the dark black clouds. Great warriors like Rana Pratap, Shivaji , and queen of Jhansi always honoured me. Think Shield think have you ever been honored in your life. I will not be sad if I break during one to one fight in a war. Only warriors mounted on horse have the honor to die in the battle field.. You are like a drum without sound. You are silent unknown and without life.
After reading these arguments, what conclusions you wise readers have arrived at? I give the conclusion what I could perceive. Sword is a symbol of destruction and Shield for protection and none is superior but always equal. This is the command of Almighty for continuation of this universe and this has no tolerances
