Within Temptations: A Vampire in Love

Your name is Ophelia. You're 17. You're 5’5; you have long black hair, silvery eyes, and an olive complexion. You're Human. You like heavy metal music and rock. Your style is very oldies; you like female equality and band logo tees, as well as the classic skinny jeans to fit the bill. Although your ears are racked with earrings, you aren't really into facial piercings. They make your stomach churn. You prefer the outdoors and like to draw. You're very quiet and have a voice that's soft and sweet.

Your older Human sister is Charlotte. She's 19, has the same long black hair as you, and prefers tanning. Unlike you, she has your father's brown eyes and LOVES all kinds of piercings. Charlotte likes to party a lot and has constant run-ins with the law. She is more of a diva and doesn't listen to your parents, who are divorced. From time to time, Charlotte will struggle with an eating disorder and not come home for weeks at a time. She has a rockability voice with a lot of edge, and occasionally it is raspy and growly.

Your Human best friend, Annabelle Katrine. She's 17, the same age as you. You've been best friends since elementary school when she tried to steal your crayons to color her blonde hair. You call her Anna Kay as a nickname and she calls you Ophie. Anna Kay loves flowers and freedom, and is very much a hippie by nature. She also has a soft voice, but is very bubbly and rarely leaves you a dull moment.

Your Vampire Soulmate is Tristan. He is Pureblood (he was actually born a Vampire, rather than becoming one). He is centuries old, but looks about 19. He is 5'9, has black hair and deep blue eyes. However, his eyes change colors based upon mood and situation. He is very gentle and sweet; it's very difficult to get him angry. He lives with a Vampire Colony of men and women; most of them appear to be teenagers or in their early 20's. Tristan enjoys the peace and quiet, which is very hard to come by in his shared mansion. He has snakebites, as well as a few other piercings. He likes riddles and being mysterious.

Izzibelle is Tristan's Vampire kin. (They share a mother and father, making her also Pureblood.) She's tall, thin and slightly muscular; she is older than Tristan by a few years, making her physical age about 21. She has black hair with blonde streaks, but is always changing up the colors. She is a much darker Vampire and believes Vampires are the highest class and Humans are the lowest. To her, Humans are the scum of the earth. Izzibelle is very proud and arrogant. Needless to say, she is every extension of the word 'bitch.'

Tristan's Vampire Blood Brother (They were such good friends that they shared Vampire blood and now any task that Tristan's Blood Brother dies while trying to complete, Tristan must take up that task. Also, should the Blood Brother die, Tristan must revenge his death. This works both ways.*) is Orion. He is Half-Blood (he became a Vampire, therefore both Human and Vampire blood run in his veins). He is much younger than Tristan in chronological years, but looks about the same age. Orion likes to be the funny guy. He is somewhat clumsy, especially for a Vampire, and enjoys classical music, sketching, and Comedy Central. Orion, like Tristan, finds Humans facinating and on occasion likes to go out with Tristan to study them.

Harlem is Tristan's Vampire best friend, and Izzibelle's lover. However, Tristan and Harlem couldn't be more different. Harlem, like Izzibelle, hates Humans. He finds them a despicable race, full of disease and filth. Harlem constantly teases Orion and beats him around; this is for his ridiculous idiocracy as well as his dirty blood. Harlem stopped aging at 23, and is the eldest of the Vampires sharing Tristan and Izzibelle's mansion. Harlem is arrogant, rude, and speaks without thinking. He is harsh and irresponsible, and completely unpredictable.

Greggory is Tristan's Shapeshifter best friend. (Shapeshifters only come in Pureblood.) He is 17 in both chronological and physical age, making him the youngest creature sharing the house. He is a homosexual metrosexual and is always following the newest trends. Greggory doesn't have anything against Humans, per se, but he isn't particularly fond of them either. He hasn't ever met one, and he doesn't really understand them. Greggory has secret emotions for Tristan, but he doesn't know how to tell him. He constantly worries about Tristan's facination with Humans because he thinks it will be bad for their "otherworldly" existance (Their difference in races).
