When you cried, I was there.
When you bled, I was there.
When you felt weak, I was there.
When you lost hope, I was there.
When you needed me, I was there.

But where were you?
When I cried?
When I bled?
When I felt weak?
When I lost hope?

The times I needed you most, you weren't there.
When my dad died, you weren't there.
When I spent my days alone in tears, you weren't there.
When I was hurt both physically and mentally, you weren't there.
When I needed you to heal my wounds, you weren't there.

How could you do this to me?
I trusted you, I loved you, I needed you.
You were my rock, my hope, my source of stability.
I depended on you when I had no one else to look up to.
So again I ask, where were you when I needed you?

But know this much,
No matter how much trouble you brought me,
No matter how much pain caused me,
No matter how much you let me down,
I will be here when you need me.
