A bit of a dream world, I suppose, called Forget
Close your eyes
and take a deep breath.
Step into the last wonder
the world has left.

I promise you now
that it's fantastical fun.
You'll be mute with wonder
before it's done.

The lights and the screaming,
the laughing and singing,
the dizzying confusion,
the queening and kinging.

Buttery aromas of
fried foods and sweets,
the soul-freezing cold
and the heart-melting heat...

Music twirling
through the trees,
lovers hidden
under leaves.

Deep into the
silver night,
we weave a
tapestry of fright,

but the stars are shining
in twisted glee,
and as we dance
our fears go free.

And ivory shores,
golden-red waves,
wait by the side
of this medieval place

as we gamble our fleeting
lives away,
shedding our memories
on this last day.

For none of us
could ever leave
a land where all you need
is to laugh and to breathe.

We never feel guilt,
no hint of regret,
because all of us came here
to fade... and forget.

So close your eyes
and take a deep breath.
Step into the last wonder--
a world called Forget.
