Thoughts on the controversy between science and spirituality
Something Believable

Faith in the “experiment”

may prove the “how”

but not the “why”.

Faith in the “knowing”

reveals the “why”

and accepts the “how”.

Infinity is...

whether there is faith or not.

Faith finds what it seeks.

~

If it is proven does it becomes static?

No longer a mystery, no longer plastic.

No object of wonder to inspire awe.

Just one puzzle piece for the future to draw.

Unless it is seen beyond the proof and stats;

beyond the numbers stating thises and thats.

There’s more understanding for us to discern;

more questions to ask, more lessons to learn.

Do you ever wonder why we all wonder?

And try to unwind the spell that we’re under?

Who asks the questions that pop in our heads?

What brings all the dreams that invade our beds?

So... we’re part of the question, this much is true.

Then... we must be a part of the answer too.

Equations of plus, minus and equals —

infinity’s plot for future sequels.

Those souls with “reason” will answer a call;

the blind with “a” reason will stumble and fall.

One senseless act brings a thousand replies

and each soul is lifted when one person tries.

Unfolding the dance in each baby step

by leaps and bounds with each truth we accept.

Look for the balance inside of each day

Find the deep meaning that’s guiding your way.
