The Harmony

The harmony is the web of energy through which the angels communicate. It is through this network that they are connected. The Harmony:

(1) Alerts the angelic forces of each other's presence
(2) Alerts the angelic forces of the presence of enemy
(3) Can be masked. Each Angel is trained with the ability to mask their presence if needed. It is part of the combat training.
(4) Alerts the angels to the death and pain of other angels.

Fallen angels are not cut off from it because they are still energy. They cannot draw strength from it however because they are cut off from the Source. Angels of the Light draw energy from the Source of all energy. Fallen Angels are anti energy. They are the dark side or the negative to the positive of Angels of Light. Evil is the source of energy for the Fallen.

Michessian is cut off from both the Source and from The Anti Source. He must find energy in a different manner. Hence he is drawn to the epicenter of the Great Feud, Mankind. It is from their essence that he draws his energy.

The terminology used in this explanation will be modified as it develops.

Angelic Travel

Travel is at the speed of thought rather than the speed of time or even the speed of light. Just as when you hear a song and your mind instantly takes you to a time or place where that song impacted you....so the angels (both of the Light and the Fallen) travel by conscious thought. They think of the place and will it so, and they are there.

This brings with it the complication of no knowledge of conditions or those present when you arrive at your destination. Whereas when you are approaching you may see danger or inconvenience and avoid it, an instant appearance may be..awkward at times...and even dangerous at others.

The Source

The Source: What some would refer to as God. The Source of all energy and all things created are created of energy. The angels draw their strength and energy from The Source. The Source is the balance that keeps the cosmos working. The Source is also the center of command of the angelic forces.

The First Rebellion

The First Rebellion: Man was created by The Source and place on this planet. Angels were placed in charge of overseeing them and protecting them. These angels were known as the Watchers. Their count according to the Book of Enoch were 200 led by their Leader Semjaza. Semjaza was an angel of great power and a close friend and confidant of the Arc Lucifer. Semjaza and his contingent of watchers did more than just watch. They interacted. They lusted after them and they mingled with them. Violent Giants were the resulting offspring known as the Nefallim. This interaction was expressly forbidden as they were to be watchers and defenders. Their sin was denounced by The Source and an eternal curse put on the Watchers. Semjaza and his watchers were repentant and sent an envoy to request for redemption and forgiveness. Their request was rejected while the creatures that had happily participated in the co mingling, men, were forgiven and given a second chance. Semjaza at some point plead his case through his friend Lucifer who passionately interceded on His friend's behalf. The roots of the Second Rebellion were formed here.

The Second (or Great) Rebellion

The Second (or Great) Rebellion: After the final pleas for forgiveness had fallen on the deaf ears of The Source, it became necessary to assign more angels to watch over mankind. Mankind would suffer the brunt of vengeance under the hand of Semjaza and his contingent of Fallen. The dual orders were to watch mankind and defend it from Semjaza and the Fallen. These incursions would lead to clashes between the Fallen and the Watchers. Eventually The Source would order a full incursion in order to deal with the Fallen once and for all. Unbeknownst to The Source Semjaza and his old friend Lucifer had done much talking and Lucifer felt that The Source was wrong and determined to take over Heaven while the incursion to defeat the Fallen was in progress with hopes of catching the Throne undefended or at least lightly defended. Using his position as Arc he made sure that Michessian was left behind with hopes that he would rise with him in what Lucifer saw as a just takeover. A third of the angelic forces sided with Lucifer in defense of their friends, The Fallen, and were cast out forever, cut off from The Source and condmned to an eternal curse joining The Fallen forever

The Compulsion

The Compulsion is a theory put forth by the Ancient Fallen Azazel that argues that the sense of love and devotion to The Source is programmed into the being of every created angel. There is an illusion of free will for every angel but the programming in their makeup makes free choice almost impossible and punishable instantaneously. Free choice amounts to disobedience and there is zero tolerance for disobedience. Azazel argued that The Source binds the angel in the first moments of existence as the angel instinctively reaches for energy surrounding him or her. In short, The Compulsion is a willing acceptance of an existence of slavery to The Source.
(Please Note: Azazel is a Fallen character in the story.  This is the Author's concept written as though on of the characters in the story had theorized it)

The Mania: The Anti Source

For every force there is an opposing force of equal power. The Anti Source or Mania as it is called by the Fallen is that source. It is the insidious voice of temptation that lured Semjaza and his contingent of Watchers into the first rebellion and used Semjaza to convince and entice Lucifer to lead the rebellion against the source. The Fallen draw their strength and energy from Mania as the The Host of Light draws their strength from the Source. It operates in the same manner as The Source with the exception that it is wielded by its users rather than its users wielded by it. It controls through subtle influence rather than force as opposed to The Source and The Compulsion.

Esiasch: The Council of Brothers

Esiasch (enochian for the brothers) is The Council of Brothers and consists of the three most powerful and ancient angels. They are the only ones that have constant contact with The Source and possess near omnipotence in power. These three are...

Metatron
Seraphiel
Melchizedeck

These three represent the three purposes of the Host and each reflect the will of The Source.

Metatron-Defender/Warrior...Metatron is the Ancient Angel that guards the Tree of Life. Chief Warrior of the City.

Seraphiel-The Angel of Angels. He bears the will of the Source for the Host. Judgement on any of the Host is handed down through Seraphiel. For guidance in behavior and what is and is not accepted, Seraphiel is the Angel to seek out. Due to the every day in and out nature of his job, Seraphiel quite possibly has more contact with The Source than any other being created.

Melchizedeck-The King of peace. The angel that is the direct link of The Source to his prized creation mankind. He is the one that reflects the favor and will of The Source to Mankind. As such he is the angel that deals with the messenger aspect of The Host. He has had many manifestations and names...Yeshua, Jesus, Messiah, "Son of God".

These three are The Council and are the most ancient and most powerful of all angels.

Micaoli Butman(i): The Mouth Pieces

The prized creation of the Source is mankind and the world on which they live. This world becomes a source of conflict for the Fallen and the Host and more importantly for The Source and The Mania. The reason for this conflict is hidden from the Fallen and the Host. Both sides at times need to be able to communicate with mankind and wish to keep direct contact as minimal as possible. As a result, both sides have chosen a mouth piece and elevated them to their own ranks. These are the Micaoli Butmani (enochian literally the power mouths). For The Host their chosen Micaoli Butman is Encoh and for The Fallen their Micaoli Butmana is Lilith.

the secret

so here was the dilemma I couldnt make make sense:

Michessian is cast out from The Source
he hates The Source and he hates Lucifer
but by not joining with Lucifer he is cut off from the Mania as well (the anti source)
so here was the two part dilemma:

(1) without either source he cannot survive...yet what would make him draw from man for his energy?

(2) I can understand why the Host would hunt him...but why would the Fallen hunt him? so what if he is a rogue? so what he didn't join them..he is no worry, danger or preocupation to them

so..the twist is this...

Michessian discovers a secret

a secret that neither the Fallen or the Host understand

that the energy of The Source and of the Mania comes from the recognition and/or worship from the creations...hence the Host and the Fallen give BOTH of the Sources their power and energy

AND

mankind..by his behavior...recognizes each source and gives energy back into it...making the creations the source of continued energy for both of the Sources.

So Michessian has effectively bypassed the two sources and gone to the source of the sources (sounds confusing but hope it makes sense)This makes him a danger to BOTH the Source and the Mania...and must be eliminated

Hierarchy of Angels

I will be combining information from the following two links and will be making some slight changes that I will note below.

I will be using the term Divisions or the Enochian Word Yrpoil(as opposed to spheres or choirs) because I am using the Host as multifunctional but every angel will be combat ready regardless of rank or purpose. The following has MUCH of the mythology established by church fathers and church writings but by NO means is an exact replica...I have specifically played with the Third Division, removing Archangels and replacing them with Polemistis (greek for warriors). I will explain this further down into the Hierarchy. I have also created a high council of sorts; the Esiasch: The Council of Brothers

Esiasch: The Council of Brothers

The Senior members of the Host are Melchisedek, Seraphiel and Metatron and are the only members of this rank. For more information see the posting on the Esiasch: The Council of Brothers. These are denoted by the Color white.

Elo Yrpoil (Enochian)-High Command

The highest tier of angels. The Arcs are mostly of this rank. These angels report to the Esiasch. The Rank is designated by the color red.

Seraphim
Cherubim
Erelim (symbolized by thrones)

Viv Yrpoil (Enochian)-Heavenly Governors

These are the Administrative arm of The Host. They are the managers of the third division. They are denoted by the color amethyst. and each one has a direct link to a rank in the third division.

Kyriotetai (Dominions or Lords)-Govern Angel behavior and also direct links to the Tabaan. They are more rulers of regions the Tabaan are rulers of more local areas. The Kyriotetai answer to the Erelim Arc Raguel.

Exusiai-These are the Commanders, Legionnaires and strategists of The Hosts and are directly responsible for the Polemistis or rank and file warriors. They answer to the Seraphim Arc Michael.

Dynamai-The name means power or virtue. They are the Intelligence branch and are directly responsible for the Malakhim or messengers and also work in tandem with the Exusiai. The Dynamai answer to the Cherubim Arc Gabriel


D Yrpoil (Enochian)-Rank and File designated by the color blue.

Tabaan (enochian for governor)-Some would call these the Principalities. They govern the local areas of men and respond to the Kyriotetai.

Polemistis(warriors)-Greek for Warriors these are the rank and file combat angels.

Malakhim (messengers/angels)-These are the messengers and are the ones that most frequently have contact with men.

I removed Archangels from the third division where they typically are in mythology because I am putting the rank of Arc as a special title given to angels with a specific realm of responsiblity. It will typically be an angel of the Elo Yrpoil but not necessarily. Consider Arcs to be your special forces in a manner of speaking though that is not an exact definition or comparison. I will be referring to the Archangels as Arcs.

The Wings

Wings on Angels have been mostly considered cosmetic and decorative. In some instances the wing have been used as a mode or means for travel.

In "For We Are Many" angelic travel occurs through the power and at the speed of thought so wings are useless as a mode of travel.

The wings serve three basic functions:

(1) Defensive. The Wings are pure energy and are highly flexible. Projectiles and light attacks can be deflected by it.

(2) Offensive. Being pure energy they can be used as weapons in part of the sequence of up close combat.

(3) The Source. The primary function of the wings is their connection to The Source. There is a constant flow of energy. The Source (unbeknownst to The Host) is dependent on the Host and the Host on the Source. This results in a constant flow of energy much like an electric grid. The wings are the conduit through which the angel remains connected to the source. Basically the unfurling and furling of the wings is the visual manifestation of tendrils of energy in contact with the Source drawing from its energy.

Because of this constant connection to the Source, killing an angel is not easy. The Source is what sustains them...and therefore regenerates them. The process of regeneration is not instantaneous, such a surge of energy would overload the angel's system and immediately destroy them by dispersing their energy. In order to kill an angel it would be necessary to cut them off from the Source. This can only be achieved by removing the wings...cutting the connection to the Source. Because of this weakness angel's training is intensive on defending their wings and using them effectively.

The Hierarchy of Angels is one of caste....and is set...they do not change caste. However, the amount of energy, and as a result, strength and power, that an angel has is directly related to

(a) experience. Since it is energy and angels wield energy it will take experience to wield an increasing amount of energy.

(b) capabilities. All men may be created equal but angels are not. Some serve a rudimentary purpose while others are gifted. The gifted ones can absorb and wield higher amounts of energy...some more than others.

(c) contact with the Source and faithfulness to the Source.

Based on these three, the combination makes the Council of Brothers the most powerful angels. An angel, however, given the different combination...would be able to increase its power...making their skill rival..say...Gabriel...or even Michael. Which would explain why Michessian can hold his own with Michael yet get his ass kicked by Melchizedeck.

The Weapon

Angels use a blade that is a conduit of energy. It is made of silver. Silver is significant because:

Silver is a mineral that is said to mirror the soul, strengthen the connection between astral and physical bodies, and enhance intuitive and psychic energies.

Silver is mystically considered to improve speech, bring eloquence. It is also purported to attract, enhance and store the energies of gemstones, as well as draw out negative energies.

The pommel of every angel's blade has a Crystal in it that rests in the palm of every angel. The crystal is the color of the angel's rank. Contact activates it and the mind controls it. In it is part of every angel and it also enhances communication along The Harmony. Each crystal is unique in its signature and only can be activated by its owner. Silver is a relatively soft metal and therefore serves as just a conduit of energy. It is the energy itself that bears the weight and brunt of the attack.

Combat between the Host and the Fallen is one of pure energy. But it is opposite energies, The Source and the Mania. It is the forceful contact of opposing energies and is an explosive sight to behold.
