Jamie in Newbard(chapter 2)

CHAPTER2
Saturday
                                    Jaime's POV.
I've been up for a couple of hours now and already i want to go back to sleep. Its my first weekend in NYADC and I'm really not looking forward to the family group sesion and i'm wishing that something happens so mum and derek can't make it. I mean what self respecting teenager would want to have a heart to heart with the man that split your parents up, not any that I know thats for sure. Anyway so back to the morning i had so far, first Kay the head matron on morning duties come into my room and demanded that i be dressed and that my room is sutiable by 7:15 or im not getting any breakfast, i mean i've been here 4 days and that what happens every-morning but i mean come on its the weekend. Ok so when i did that and went down stairs for breakfast in my faded gray skinny jeans, my black dragon top and my matrix coat, i was surpirised to see that for once we had something eatable for breakfast, sitting on the table was a huge plate full of pancakes and around the plate was an assortment of mixed berries, honey, lemon juice, sugar, butter, and jam. I grabbed a small plate, toke one pancake, covered it with berries than sat next to Bev and Vic
    "Hey Jai-Girl what you doin," asked Vic
    "Well obviously she is sitting next to me and eating pancakes, oh by the way only me, Ann, Mary and Micha are alowed to call her Jai-Girl fot it" Bev snapped at Vic
      "Hey if you's dont stop Kay will comeover and Vic can call me Jai-Girl"
      "OK" they both said at the same time
After we all finished breakfast and went our seperate way, Vic to the gym, Ann to her room, and the new boy Kirby watching her every move, and Bev playing chess with Josh. Mischa, Mary and I decided to go watch the boys play basketball and generally waste time until the family group meeting come upon us. At first the only reason i was there was so i could watch Nick without being suspious but after ten minutes I found myself paying attention to the game-of course i was still paying attention to Nick just not as much-more and more and yelling out when someone messed up, Mischa and Mary looked at me and I felt that I needed to explain myself.
    "I used to play," I explained, then I got a crazy idea. I got up from the bench and walked over to where the boys were having a break a couple of the boys just looked at me while some said hi but i didnt care I kept walking until I got to the sports teacher.
    "Hello Jaime."
    "Hey Mr Spincer, do you think that icould play a game with the boys since theres no girls playing?" I asked in my sweet voice, by then a couple of the boys had come over to see what was going on
    "Well Jaime I dont see why not. Have you ever played before?" he questioned
    "Yeah I used to play occasionly," I lied
    "Well boys" he said to the boys around us " Jamies goin to play a game with yous and i expect you not to go to hard on her"
    "Uhm sir if you dont mind I would like it if they dont go easy on me just because i'm a girl."
      "Ok if that what you want, your going to be on Nicks team."
Then off I went at first I acted like I didnt know what i was doing than I started playing for real and i even saw some of the boys just stare. After the game the boys came up to me and said that i did good for a girl especially since i was in skinnies, and the coach said I could play wjenever i wanted and i must confess I enjoyed it. As i was leaving the courts with Mischa and Mary, someone grabbed my wrist and turned me around and thats when I saw the dreamy blue-green eyes of Nick.
    "Hey girls can me and Jaime talk she'll catch up soon," he asked Mischa and Mary.
    "Sure thing i'll see you in side Jaims," answered Mischa, and they walked off leaving me there with him.
    "So you have some sick skills on the court Jaime" he started
    "Thanks I used to play for my school team" and replied , oh my god can I be anymore pathetic "your not so bad yourself," dont worry about answering the earlier question i already know the answer and its a big fat YES.
Nick smiled than all at once i realised he still had hold of me wrist and i think he did to because suddenly he let go.
      "Look Jaime I dont know how to say this so im gonig to just say it. Sine the first day I saw you i've been wanting to ask you to go out with m."
      "Really?" I asked, oh my god I cant believe this is happening. Finally.
But before he had time to answer my world suddenly went blank and I couldnt see his beautiful face anymore.
