Lost in Twilight and Wuthering Heights

I watched Lost In Austen. It is a movie about a young woman obsessed with the book Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Amanda, the main character gets caught up in the book literally and is in the book Pride and Prejudice. Amanda falls in love with Darcy but she has always loved Darcy because of her obsession with the story. The characters in the book's lives change with the women marrying other men whom they were not to marry when the book was written. Amanda makes things right and she decides to stay with Darcy while Elizabeth Bennett, the woman she traded places with decides to stay in the present life. I thought about how I would like to trade places with a character in a book and this is what I came up with. People tell me I don't live in the real world and that I live in a fantasy world. Sounds good to me. So, here is how my life would be if I traded places with one of the female characters from a book.

Twilight. Yes, I know. Here I go again. I would like to try places with Rosalie. I could be a vampire. I wouldn't want Emmett for my soul mate. I was thinking of Darrell Van Horn, the sexy man from the "Eastwick" series or maybe Barnabas Collins {Johnny Depp is playing Barnabas in the new Dark Shadows movie!}. Rosalie likes to dress in pretty clothes and she is hard to be friends with. I would like to think that I make friends easily but with some people I have to get to know them first. Rosalie didn't like being a vampire and she missed her comfortable life she had as a human and I can understand that. She did get to help raise Renesmee and she wanted children so bad. Me as Rosalie. I would get to be a vampire and I wouldn't attack humans and I would be fine with that. I just feel that Rosalie should have a different soul mate. If I was Rosalie, I would get a job in a clothing store or the Fashion world. As an animal lover, I couldn't attack animals for blood so I would survive on packets of blood. If I couldn't be Rosalie, I could handle being Alice. She is sweet and loves her vampire life. Bella. As Bella, I could have Jacob and when he turns into a wolf, I could have a pet as well as a man. I could have Edward, too. I like him. He is a cute, nice vampire. It would be nice to live out my fantasy as a character in Twilight.

Wuthering Heights. I would like to have been Catherine Earnshaw. She had a nice childhood and she loved Heathcliff. I can see myself yelling "Hearhcliff!" and running through the Moors. I can understand Catherine wanting to live at the Grange, the fancy house. I could love Edmund but not like I would have Heathcliff. Catherine's soul mate was Heathclff and if I was Catherine, I would have told him that. Catherine wouldn't have died in the end and she and Heathcliff could have lived happily ever after. Fantasy. I get so keep caught up in books, movies and TV Shows that I can see myself as the characters that I love. Fantasy. Isn't that what dreams are made up? Thanks for reading.
