First poem up on here. Please send comments on what I can improve.
Let’s play the we don’t care game….
the one where we don’t give a fuck and hook up
Cause I’m not stable, nor are you
We’re drinking ourselves into a land
of low inhibitions
Where bare skin replaces
Bare hearts
I’m purging myself of innocence
You’re smoking yourself out of love
It’s passion, love
Mother-fucking passion

I am
tearing at the seams as your fingers tiptoe across my skin
You are
breaking at the eyelids as
We are
floating into a place where we shouldn’t be
There is a still a bit of you I haven’t…..touched
You exhale smoke
I inhale you
We are unstable

The couches fold in at the edges
creaking like stairs walked across
Green scratching fabric rubs against the back of your legs
Guess what?
this little room is too big
Let’s lay here, lying that we don’t feel
anything

Stifle the chemistry in our blood systems
mixing together
I thought we were something
Patches sewn into his coat appeal to you more
The knitted hat he gave is worn on your head as you go

Techno techno love
Beat beat techno love
sweat sweat sweat techno love
We don’t need words tonight

I’m a temporary fuck up for a temporary emotion
My body is rented to you
I’ll be here tomorrow
I have an hourly rate,
pay me in false love
We are unstable
