Simple but smart,
A man of thought,
changed his mind,
When he saw and fought
For a country, a different sort,
-and was slaughtered for a precious want.
Built upon a gaze,
That he saw so much of,
When he glanced at the details,
In poverties face.
His killer was taken
He was humbled inside,
Humiliated by his actions,
When he looked in his fathers eyes,
But what he had done,
he could not scurry,
To any part of land or country.
For he knew he could not hide,
Brought up,
And made known of his wrongs.
There was a sin,
Mistakes had been made,
But in their eyes,
There was only a crime
Only a sin, to be forgiven
But not thorough politic's eyes.
So blind from a city's debt,
Cried, the beloved country,
When god's justice wept.
