Blood from a stone

Man kind, human nature, spiritual,

Let me take you away for a while
let me bring to your face a smile
For in this world, one thing is sure
a laugh, a smile is such a great cure

It costs nothing, not a penny
can be infectious
or medicine its self
its not something can be bought of the Shelf

yet why would you want to take blood from a stone
the opposite of Giving your beloved dog a bone
No blood to be taken
In this world so forsaken

Its blood, war, crime and greed
The beautiful flower from a tiny seed
Which grew from this earth
With water and light
Grew so colorful sweet smelling and bright

Why do humans,
thrive on getting blood from a stone
is love, beauty, Trust or truth not enough?
An Eye for an Eye
Revenge is sweet
Lie to the people
keep them on the street,

I wish I could wave my wand
Make it better
Clean up this land
yet that power has that power been put in my hand?

The Pen they say is mightier than the Sword
The Giver of life they say is the Lord!

The words I write,
which flow from my heart
May just be
just be the start!
