Business & a Marathon

One must remember, that whether or not you're in the marketing, sales, small or home

base business. Or dealing or relating to business of any type. That business is a

marathon. The reason 98% of people fail, is because they give up. Most people see

things as a sprint and by our nature we want instant gratification. So we take off like a

bullet and die out 100 meters down the track. In the business world that will get you no

where. Unless you are an Olympic sprinter, (which you're most likely not) then it's time

to get the marathon mindset. Ask yourself this “How do you think all major corporations

got started?” Do you believe they did it in a single night? No. They came to be over a

period of 5,10,15 years or more of diligent ,but steadily paced hard work. That's what it

takes to be one of the top 2 or 3% money earners in America. No one in history has ever

sprinted there way to the top. They may have gotten there fast ,but not by sprinting. The

only way up is with a patient focused mind that is steady paced and refuses to give up.
