like a wire, tight.
finely tuned

Decomposing, falling apart
Where is the control I once had?

Reverberating, echoing
Change my mind please, I feel it failing.

Strung taut, almost snapping
Where will I go now?
Who will I be?

joy

the wind dances across my face
tossing the scent of honeysuckle my way
and the sky is bright
the grass is soft
as we play
climbing trees
picking apples
holding hands
we are free
we are one

how do i rest

smooth skin across skin
fingers glide
when you're beside me
holding on
i dream of us
i dream of love
and when youre gone
my sleep is light
i need you there beside me
because its so cold
when you're not home
and my dreams of you
just aren't enough
