Foundation of a Family

What happens when the foundation of a family starts to cave in? Heads collide. Hearts are ripped out and stomped on. Words cut thru the skin like knives. True feelings are smothered by pride. One cries. Another screams. The mom becomes depressed. The father hides. And the oldest child seems to be hurt the most.

Does the family seek help? Or do they try and hide the hurt and the pain from the outside world? Do they not realize that some people can see right thru their pathetic disciuse?

What if one family member tries to reach out and get help? Does the rest of the family just suck them back into the lie? Nothing can come in and nothing can leave.

It doesnt seem to take much to set a foundation rocking. One wrong move; one wrong word can set it off balance. It takes the whole family to settle and hold the foundation down. But if the family isnt working together, does their world come crashing down around them? What if a family member is forgotten amongst the yelling, screaming, crying, depressed, and hiding? What if that family member gets crushed because they were trying to hold the family foundation up? To keep the family from completely falling apart. Does the rest of the family help them out or do they go about doing what they were doing that caused the foundation to crumble?

Will it take losing a family member before they open theyre eyes and look around? Or would they continue on with their normal lives and forget the fallen? Would it be worth it for that one family member to lose her life?
