| I am a match. Strike me and I will burn leave me to the wind and I go out cradle me, and I’ll glow. I flicker at the slightest breeze bending either which way I’m told diminishing into the night. But if given the chance my light would call others, and I would give my flame to them, allowing them to shine, for I am a symbol of brightness my luminosity would be wasted if I did not share it -and help light the world. Stepping back, no light burns brighter than any other but as a whole we can blaze the night sky as one and those singled lights may show the world our radiance. |
