Pink Boot

There is a little pink boot alone in the snow.
It is missing it's fuzzy pink toes
and little pink foot I suppose.

There is a little pink boot left in the cold
of the post office parking lot
where cars come and go a lot.

There is a little pink boot shivering
as more big white flakes fall,
soon you won't see it at all.

There is a little pink boot where people walk,
and no one seems to see.
Kind of sad, don't you agree?

"Mama, there is my little pink boot!"
I thought it jumped off and ran away!
I bet it was cold on such a snowy day!"

There are two pink boots on a child's feet,
no more are they lonely and cold,
warm little toes they enfold.
